@RizkyAgungW5 Vietnam can make complicated aerodamic body & seeker anti-ship & anti-air missile and some clown think we need TOT to do simple fuze & casing of FAB-250.

There used to be a country that was developing training bombs, suddenly in the middle of developing the bombs, the country bought training bombs from an ASEAN country that borders Timor Leste, after they bought them, suddenly their training bombs were finished.

@RizkyAgungW5 The training bomb include three things: 1- steel casing ( isnt even look like russian) 2-fuze (which imported from Bulgaria) 3-tnt (vietnam exported nearly billion usd to usd) Yeah, bomb is so "high tech" that someone claim Vietnam had to buy TOT lol

@_dandirifki @Tsar_Rus2206 @sugondese6666 You mean after 20 years, PT- Pindad still making improved version of 60 years old VAB. And Vietnam catched up with PT - Pindad, without relying on foreign partner for license?

@_dandirifki @Tsar_Rus2206 @sugondese6666 While Vietnam just finished first protoype 8x8 XTC-03, an amphibious APC for marine force. Because we can make turret 30mm - 125mm, auto loader, anti-air missile & radar, there will be more XTC-03 variants in future, without relying completely in foreign country.

@skyhelm @Tsar_Rus2206 @sugondese6666 >upgrade. It's still BMP1 my guy, even NK is moving away from early cold war platforms Fucking hell, reverse engineering cold war relic in big 2020 isn't something to be proud of. You're actually mentally challenged if you think like this lmao.

@_dandirifki @Tsar_Rus2206 @sugondese6666 PT-Pindad started producing APC before Vietnam 20 years ago, but now Vietnam can make Self propelled artillery: 122, 130 & 152mm. 8x8 APC: PT - Pindad tried with Pandur II and failed. Now Republickorp buys 8x from UAE. IFV with modern domestic Vshorad missile & ABM/AHEAD ammo

@_dandirifki @Tsar_Rus2206 @sugondese6666 That XCB is entering mass serial production, and SPAAG variant will show up at military exhibition this year: domestic 30mm canon + local ABM/AHEAD ammo + mini aesa radar & tracking radar. Oh, you know ANOA is a licence VAB from french right, which is a cold war design.

@Tsar_Rus2206 @sugondese6666 that XCB is still on progress is maybe one of the reason. and the lack of critical news regarding your military or govt even made out to intl sphere is one big reason why lmao. even fucking north korea is moving away from 60s tech, let that sink in

@_dandirifki @Tsar_Rus2206 @sugondese6666 Subsonic Antiship missile range 100 - 600km, Precision MLRS with range 70 - 150km (similar to Himar), SRBM missile range 300km. And Indonesia just copy cold war era MLRS BM-21 after 10 years, with help from Serbia.

@_dandirifki @Tsar_Rus2206 @sugondese6666 Surveillance radars ranging from 10 to 360 km, AESA radars for naval vessels, and radar systems for anti-ship and air-to-air missiles. ATGMs such as RPG-7, SPG-29, and SPG-30 & Shorad missile (Igla-S copy). While PT Pindad just started developed prototype

@_dandirifki @Tsar_Rus2206 @sugondese6666 Let’s take a look at the "Cold War-era" technologies that Vietnam has achieved self-reliance in—while Indonesia criticizes them despite relying on foreign imports: Metallurgy: Steel forging for rifle barrels, artillery from 30mm to 125mm canon & ammunitions.

@gg29729192 @0bserver4 @RizkyAgungW5 Instead of investing in PT Pindad, Indonesia is pouring money into Republickorp, which lacks the experience, workforce, and infrastructure to produce armored vehicles at a level comparable to PT Pindad.

@0bserver4 @RizkyAgungW5 Then again, what's wrong about letting the EDGE group carve the Indonesian market with Rabdan if its true? They are a defense business who would more than happily meet our demand if its true.

Kudo to Brazil, the amphibious APC Guarani truly fits in their Land Force for mobility. Philippine Army also bought 28 amphibious APC Guarani, an archipelago to boost. Something Indonesia keeps denying and labels as Soviet doctrine. Not realizing a huge market for export.

@gg29729192 @0bserver4 @RizkyAgungW5 It's about logic I think. Indonesia had several choices for 8x8 program: 1- PT Pindad develops 8x8 ANOA with or without help from French/Turkey 2- PT Pindad buy license from FNSS/Europe, similar to Malaysia's Gempita. Which they signed contract for Pandur II 7 years ago

@RizkyAgungW5 @0bserver4 What's about PT Pindad Cobra aka Pandur II? Been 7 years since contracts with Czech, any progress? Pandur II is developed from Pandur 6x6, so why didnt PT Pindad try to do the same with ANOA 6x6?

@0bserver4 Even though there is a request, can Pindad deliver it quickly? The 8x8 Pindad product is not yet available. The Marines need it quickly.

@Willy06349634 @_thisIsCube @giojaifojsiada After a decade, Vietnam is getting very close to achieving self-reliance in core systems for warships. Meanwhile, after 20 years, Indonesia shifted from licensed SIGMA ships with French radars and missiles to a larger ship equipped with Turkish radars and missiles.

FMP class vs Major Surface Combatant of the ASEAN navies (indo ex) The closest ship is the Formidable with 56 missiles, only 8 missiles short of the Balaputradewa (FMP). Meanwhile, in another spectrum, the Gepard class requires 8 ships to match the firepower of a 1 FMP

@Willy06349634 @_thisIsCube @giojaifojsiada 10 years, Viettel has developed AESA radars, anti-ship missiles from land/sea/air, 150 km MLRS, 35 km SAM, and soon will be a 300 km SRBM and 70 km SAM. The final missing piece is a naval SAM, which is now following a path similar to Turkey’s Hisar and Siper programs.

@giojaifojsiada Have you counted the weight of all those missiles & VLS system (if you can fit all missiles of course) , and how it affect ship performance?
