@renanirneh @jk_rowling @DannyWxo Lies, more lies and then even more lies. Khelif’s case may be complicated by a DSD but he is a biological man. And he knew it as he beat up women to cheat his way to a gold medal. There’s no ambiguity or complexity. He is a cheating man.

Today's ruling by the IOC means a welcome return to fair sport for women and girls, but I'll never forget the scandal of Paris 2024, when people who consider themselves supremely virtuous and progressive publicly cheered on men punching women.

@JohnCleese I think the problem with many you label people trans-phobic is many are truthphobic. They really can’t cope with the truth.

You can disagree with someone without hating them That's the basis of liberal democracy Using the suffix '-phobic' suggests fear and disgust I have been labelled trans-phobic by illiterates I asked them if the fact they disagreed with me means they are Cleese-phobic I didn't get a reply
The Free Speech Union@SpeechUnion

An official definition of Islamophobia — now repackaged as “anti-Muslim hostility” — will threaten free speech, say religious leaders. Parliament voted in 2008 to abolish blasphemy laws. Now, Starmer’s government is trying to reintroduce a Muslim blasphemy law. Representatives from the Christian, Muslim, Hindu and Sikh communities have written to the Communities Secretary urging him not to place one religion on a pedestal. It is clear that this ever-expanding definition will have a chilling effect on free speech. It will silence legitimate criticism of Islam — including its practices such as halal slaughter — and shut down conversations on important topics such as the grooming gangs scandal and Islamist extremism. In their letter, religious leaders warned the Secretary of State that this new “vauge” definition is unnecessary because existing UK law already protects religious groups from discrimination and hate — including Islam. The letter highlights that the inclusion of racialisation and prejudicial stereotyping as forms of anti-Muslim hate will further chill free speech. Representatives said: “Muslims are not a racial group. Islam is a global religion, whose adherents come from a wide range of different races. This basic fact cannot be changed by government decree.” While the definition is non-statutory, public bodies will adopt it with the same enthusiasm as the police did with NCHIs. The government must abandon the official definition. Read more below 👇

@Microinteracti1 @elonmusk You do realise that the knife murder rate in the US is 50% higher than in the UK don’t you? Knife crime is a bigger problem in the US than the UK. The gun murder rate is over 300 times as much. It is so rare in the UK that it is major news when it happens.

Weird, isn’t it? Eleven people stabbed on a train in the UK makes global news, while in the United States it barely counts as a headline when a dozen people are shot. The contrast says everything about how violence has been normalized in America. In the US there have already been around 340 mass shootings in 2025, and last year ended with over 500. The definition is simple: four or more people shot in a single incident. That is more than one every single day. Every year, over 43,000 Americans die from gun-related injuries, including homicides, suicides, and accidents. About 722 people were killed in mass shootings in 2023 alone, according to Pew Research and the Gun Violence Archive. This is a level of violence that simply does not exist anywhere else in the developed world. Now compare that to Europe. The entire continent, with over 740 million people, records roughly 5,000 murders a year from all causes combined. In the UK, the number of people killed by firearms in a year is typically under 50. That is not per month or per week, it is per year. So yes, 11 people stabbed on a British train is tragic and rare. But in America, it would barely make the local news cycle. That is how deeply numb the country has become to its own bloodshed. And that is the real story here. In Europe, violence still shocks people because it is not the norm. In the United States, people have adapted to living in a low-level war zone. You can see it in the language: “active shooter” is now part of everyday vocabulary. Kids do lockdown drills. Politicians send thoughts and prayers. And then the cycle repeats. The UK stabbing will spark outrage, investigation, and debate, as it should. In the US, there will be another shooting tomorrow. Probably several. And most people will not even look up from their phones.

More than 10 male football clubs in the uk to every 1 female team. There are plenty of places for trans identifying men to play other men! Stay out of female sport … well done Cerys
Connie Shaw@_ConnieShaw

‘Do you have any sympathy for transgender women who feel excluded from a sport they love?’ ‘No. I also have a love for the game’ Cerys Vaughan you are hero. You speak for so many young women who are too afraid to. You have made them braver. Thank you.

So Evanilson clearly slips over, studs give way and leads to him losing balance and control so he clatters into Manchester United player. Complete accident. Yellow card shown but VAR intervene and say it’s a red card. Human error using the technology. Again.
