It will take millions of jobs, it uses an absolute mammoth amount of energy and clean water to cool. What, exactly, is the end-game other than making a few rich billionaires even richer. We won't have any money to buy anything so the economy will collapse. Probably a perfect conclusion to Capitalism.

Apparently three days is the standard ADHD crash period after any big life event. finish a semester? crash. amazing vacation? crash the moment you get home. doesn’t matter how high functioning you are. so stop shaming yourself on day two. three days is best case scenario.

The elephants are real. Everyone else is trained to ignore them. You're not. The exhaustion comes from pretending they're not there while still trying to work around them. What helped me wasn't pretending harder. It was tiny mechanical resets when the elephants get too loud. A five-second countdown. One small movement. Just to borrow one second of (I'm allowed to see this) before putting the mask back on. You're not broken. You're just not ignoring the room. You're not alone in this. 🫡
