@MoundLore @DrGregLittle2 Oh. I agree with you! We don’t want to take anything from them. I just like to see it and talk with them to see what they find. I’ve had experience where they just won’t tell you what they find, again from fear we just want to take it. I just think it’s cool!

Right: they are seldom welcoming. You also have to be careful in Missouri, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas...well, probably all of them. I told the story of when in the 1980s my wife and I took a photo from a road of a house on a mound in Mississippi. We were probably 400-500 yards away. They got really angry.

Today little Rosie crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Our gentle little 15-year old rescue. She graced our lives with joy, fun, empathy, silliness, and beauty. We had a vet come over and we were with her through the transition process. Rosie was pure love. #rosiedog #rescuedog
