@mintygreen2 Warning check the book before sticking any in as the centre pages come apart as when stapled there was an issue which causes them to full apart. Still waiting on a replacement to arrive.

@WindowsLatest I am having this problem, not technical at all… how do you get windows updates when it’s stuck on the blue screen and you have no keyboard or mouse?

Microsoft has just released an emergency update (out-of-band) to fix Windows Recovery issues in Windows 11 24H2 / 25H2. A bug that shipped to everyone with the October 2025 security update effectively rendered WinRE (Windows Recovery Environment) unusable. The update broke mouse and keyboard support in WinRE. This meant you couldn’t troubleshoot or recover your PC even when on the WinRE screen, as you couldn’t use the mouse or keyboard to navigate. Now, an emergency update has been released to patch this issue in Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2. The emergency patch is titled Windows 11 KB5070773 with Build 26200.6901 (25H2) and 26100.6901 (24H2). It’s rolling out via Windows Update. Microsoft says it's currently not aware of issues with the emergency update...
