I’ve been barking about the ethical atrocities of #AI generated imagery for over a year now. In that time, I’ve debated COUNTLESS people over it… So far, NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THEM has managed to present me with a decent, logical, thought out argument in their favor. It’s always exactly the same. Then they block me. Why? Because at this point, most people KNOW that it’s theft. They know it’s wrong, but they push it anyway. Losers. #NoToGenerativeAI

@caramariecooper You can do this w/ the free version of canva. The blame is on their graphic designer, not ai. And on you.. you can literally enforce this by protecting your intellectual property. You have rights, try using them

You nailed it. They would not be in political narrative at all if they had made it art or show biz first, but when that never happened the side stage became punditry and pundits as cable news celebrities. Nobody dreams of being a pundit. Hell, even Donald Trump wanted to produce movies and has said so. I think at the root is just a desire to be famous. Its a human desire many of us have, but its the main desire clearly of this subset.

@glennbeck went into the Hollywood conservative political groups years ago pretending he was going to produce entertainment but that never happened. Then the Daily Wire was like “we’re taking on Disney” and that was the punchline. These people are just full of crap. It’s cringe because deep down they are not artists. They are boring news pundits who became mini cable news celebrities and see the world as black and white, complaining about the other side that can in fact create art. And then there’s Hollywood itself. A corporate behemoth that balkanized the domestic audience to serve China but China has the world’s biggest middle class audience and they don’t need anything from the studio schmucks who basically screwed themselves. Now novelty and novelty only is what they can sell. Real and meaningful culture is just sitting there waiting for enough people to stop being mesmerized by glamour.

A leftist mocked the assassination of Charlie Kirk and then grabbed me by my neck as I was walking away at the Pride Festival in Baltimore. A man with Coca Cola socks and a pride bucket hat followed and eventually approached us to initiate a conversation so we interviewed him. He immediately articulated his support for political violence. When I asked him about Charlie Kirk he said that his assassination was funny going as far as to reenact it. I asked if his derangement stemmed from trauma he sustained as a little kid. Unsurprisingly, he confirmed that to be the case. As I was walking away, he grabbed me by my neck. I immediately ripped his hand off my neck and maintained space to scan for possible weapons, aggressive behavior, and threats. Do you think the man grabbing my neck was a parapraxis, or a physical Freudian Slip, revealing darker intentions to hurt me? Did his mask briefly slip?
