Give me a break, it is not that complicated. The cost is in its complexity. Let’s just add another layer to it by hiring some experts, giving them a staff, increasing their budgets yearly and that will make the system cheaper. I have successfully ran multi million dollar projects and operations that involved several million dollars a month. Mean and lean is how to save money.

You can't "common sense" your way to the answers there. You need data and experimentation, via CMMI.

Data is important however, the discussion was related to big government. The information coming from government is politically motivated. Also, with today’s technology we don’t need lifetime employees to analyze statistical data. This is a function best preformed by a computer. It doesn’t take billions of dollars to reprove what has already been proven. It does take billions of dollars to suppress legitimate scientific study by accredited individuals, who disagree with the government narrative.

It is inconceivable that the federal government has no answers nor has taken any action to get to the bottom of the unidentified drones. The fecklessness of this administration was on display last year when a Chinese surveillance balloon was allowed to fly over the entire continental United States before being shot down. Such should be viewed as a threat to our nation and citizens and action is long overdue. We have recourses and assets in our arsenal to get answers, but I suppose Ukraine is more important to the White House. January 20th can’t come soon enough.
