How did so many in Canada end up hating a guy (Poilievre) with a gay father, married a refugee, and came from a humble middle-class background? But yet they love rich boy silver-spoon-fed (Trudeau) and Carney, the rich banker?

I was told that because I’m Canadian, I should mind my business about American politics. I responded back: when your president threatened Canada’s sovereignty, it became my business. What do you think? Do Canadians have the right to speak about American politics? 🇨🇦

TDS and MAGA have killed right wing politics in Canada. The leftists have used people’s feelings for Donald Trump and what’s happening in America, to move people further left, through fear tactics and Trump-a-phobia. It started during the last Canadian election, where it seems like the Liberal campaign strategy was to draw similarities between Polievre and Trump, leveraging the TDS of Canadians to turn them against the Conservatives. Then the term “Maple MAGA” was introduced - again, by the Liberals - as a way of scaring people away from voting Conservative. The Liberals were aware of how divisive Trump was, and leveraged his comments about the 51st State as a way of turning people to the left. Every single thing Trump said or did, they were able to convince Canadians that Poilievre was on board with. Every single thing Canadians disliked about Trump, the Liberals were able to convince Canadians that Poilievre was the same. Canadians didn’t elect Carney because they were voting for Carney. He was elected because Canadians were voting against Trump. Or against the guy that the Liberals convinced them was Trump. And now Canada is stuck with a PM who’s far, far worse than what they believed Poilievre was. And they’re still so filled with hate and TDS that they’d vote for him again tomorrow.

Another long weekend, another disaster at BC Ferries. My own brothers and their families - and so many others - have had their Easter plans ruined. This government spends like crazy but can’t seem to do the maintenance required to avoid these kinds of mechanical issues. Maybe it’s because the entire BC Ferries board is made up of NDP patronage appointments?

For those in the American media—and in Iran—who struggle to read the president, here’s a translation into your language of his latest statement: “Dear IRGC leaders: The United States military just extracted a single American, alive, from inside your territory. Not one American life was lost in the process. Take that as a demonstration. We can concentrate overwhelming firepower anywhere in your country. We can go where we want and do what we want, and there is very little you can do to stop us. Your one remaining card is your ability to strike civilian infrastructure in the Gulf—countries that once tried to restrain me. That card no longer works. Your terror attacks have turned them from hesitant partners into supporters of your defeat. And I refuse to be deterred by this terror tactic. If we can pull a pilot off a mountaintop, we can send forces to seize uranium and destroy your underground missile complexes. I am prepared to do all that if I have no choice. But to do it without losing American lives, I must first take down dual-use infrastructure—bridges, power plants, energy grids. That will set your country back decades. So let’s be clear. Cut a deal on uranium, missiles, and proxies. Stop attacking Gulf states and Israel. Open the Strait to international shipping. If you don’t, we will act with overwhelming force to protect our interests. Thank you for your attention to this matter. —DJT”

🚨 THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE 🚨 🚨NOBODY UNDERSTANDS WHAT THEY JUST TRIGGERED. 🚨 🚨 People always talk about Iranian oil in terms of barrels, but rarely about what’s actually inside them. That’s the key difference—and the reason Western refineries have quietly relied on back-channel networks through places like Dubai for years to keep getting it, even under sanctions. Crude oil isn’t all the same. It’s a mix of hydrocarbons with different molecular weights, and that mix determines how easily it can be turned into the fuels refineries actually sell—like gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and heating oil. The main measure here is API gravity. Higher API means lighter crude that’s easier and cheaper to refine, and it produces more of those high-value fuels. Lower API means heavier crude that takes more energy, more processing, and more expensive equipment, while producing more low-value leftovers. Iranian Light crude sits right in a sweet spot, with an API gravity around 33–36 and moderate sulfur levels. It’s light enough to produce a lot of gasoline and middle distillates without high costs, but not so light that it limits what refineries can make. In industry terms, it’s close to an ideal blend. Now look at the alternatives. Venezuela’s Merey crude is much heavier, with very low API gravity and high sulfur. Refining it profitably requires specialized, expensive equipment like cokers and hydrocrackers. Some refineries are built for that—but it’s not interchangeable with Iranian crude. It’s a completely different type of input. On the other end, US West Texas Intermediate is very light and low in sulfur. Sounds perfect in theory, but in practice it’s almost too light. Many refineries—especially in Europe and Asia—are designed for medium-grade crude, so they can’t just switch to WTI. They often have to blend it with heavier oils to make it work. That’s where Iranian crude stands out. It fits right into the middle of the system. It doesn’t need the heavy-duty processing of Venezuelan oil or the blending adjustments required for ultra-light US shale. That balance is why it’s consistently in demand and often priced at a premium. It also explains why countries like India kept buying it despite sanctions, and why those complex trading networks through Dubai existed in the first place. The Strait of Hormuz isn’t just a route for oil—it’s a route for this specific kind of oil that global refineries are optimized to process. If that flow gets disrupted, it’s not just about losing supply. It’s about losing the type of crude the system runs most efficiently on, forcing refineries to adapt with less suitable alternatives. That’s what’s really baked into oil prices like $82—not just how much oil is available, but what kind it is.

Mark Carney and floor-crossing MP Michael Ma host luxurious fundraiser in Markham Prime Minister Mark Carney dropped by Angus Glen Golf Club in Markham, Ont., last Monday. And he brought with him his dimwitted Public Safety Minister, Sathiyasangaree “Gary” Anandasangaree, as well as the disgraced floor-crosser, Michael Ma. That’s right, just label this trio, “Carney, Gary and Ma.” Oh, the alliteration! Indeed, this threesome reminds us of a famous comedy troupe from yester-decade. They starred in slapstick shorts such as “You Nazty Spy!”, “They Stooge to Conga”, and “All the World’s a Stooge.” But we digress… In any event, they weren’t there to shoot a round of golf. Rather, this terrific trio was hosting a Liberal Party of Canada fundraising dinner which was well-attended by well-heeled Liberal supporters. Indeed, you had to be well-heeled to get into this joint given that the cost of admission was $1,775 per plate. (Yes, some cheeky monkeys might argue that this event was overpriced by $1,774.99, but never mind…) Anyway, remember how Mark Carney proclaimed his love for the free press more than two years ago in Davos when he was attending the World Economic Forum? Rebel News Commander Ezra Levant asked Carney to weigh in on the assault and false arrest of myself at the hands of RCMP goon Greg (“Uncle Fester” Dumouchel). (I had the temerity to ask Fraulein Freeland an impolite question outside a theatre in Richmond Hill and Dumouchel went into full Gestapo-mode.) Carney told Levant that he’s open to taking “tough questions” from the media. And he said it was “absolutely wrong” to arrest Rebel News reporters. Oh well, that was then (Mark Carney as private citizen) and this is now (Mark Carney as Prime Minister). So it was we were not allowed inside the Angus Glen venue. That meant we had to confine our practice of journalism to the parking lot, scrumming various attendees. But that “tolerance” eventually evaporated, and we were told by security guards to vamoose off the property or face trespassing charges! And get this: even a CTV cameraman was given the bum’s rush. Oh, the humanity! Gee, what happened to Carney’s alleged love for the free press just two years ago? And why is this man so obsessed with fast-tracking various censorship bills? Uncanny… In any event, when scrumming the attendees at the fundraiser, so many said they loved Mark Carney… but they were unable to explain why. At this point, it dawned on us that the Liberal Party of Canada is less a political party and more of a cult that is supported by acolytes whose adherents support the party – no matter what.
