Tonight the Senate is voting to start debate on the annual defense bill. It's essentially an Iran War authorization bill. A totally unprecedented 50% increase in spending to fund the war without any meaningful restraints. I'm voting NO.

Last week, Trump REFUSED to sign affordable housing legislation, calling it “so unimportant.” Today, I signed a bill to cut housing costs by up to $60,000 per home, expand homeownership, and build more affordable housing. It’s called governing, Mr. President. Maybe try it.
