Did you know that crypto is empowering individuals in Africa to access global business opportunities? 👇 I recently had the privilege of discussing this at the @UniofBath, one of the most prestigious schools in the UK, during the Bath Blockchain Innovations Group event! At ThirdMedia, we've been working with our client @Learncrypto_com to run crypto education seminars in Africa. We teach participants how to set up wallets and find work where they can be paid in crypto. This initiative enables them to work in areas like marketing and BD outreach, providing easier access to global business opportunities and bridging economic divides 🌍 #BathBlockchainKnowledgeExchange #knowledgetransfer #web3

This Chinese humanoid robot just shattered the world record for a half marathon, finishing in 50 min 26 sec. This video shows its crash just meters before the finish line where it had to be picked up by a team of humans. The robot is from Honor, the smartphone maker and Huawei spin-off. This robot was teleoperated while others were autonomous. It seems like all the robots had battery swaps along the way.

Anthropic has announced that it is massively expanding its London presence. It’s just secured a new office for 800 people - a huge jump from its 200 current employees. OpenAI announced its first permanent office in London this week and now @AnthropicAI is doubling down. Meta, OpenAI, DeepMind, wayve and so many others have huge offices in London. It’s becoming the leading AI hub outside of the US. LETS GO

That’s Leeds safe as far I see it. Trying desperately to look for the positives here. Forest home to Burnley next but in the 5 games after they have a run of fixtures where they could potentially struggle to pick up points. The same applies to West Ham. If we can get any sort of form together, it really isn’t as over as it feels right now. My optimistic but also realistic predictions for the points the respective teams will pick up in the next 6 games. FOREST Burnley (h) 3 Sunderland (a) 1 Chelsea (a) 0 Newcastle (h) 1 Man Utd (a) 0 Bournemouth (h) 1 6 points - total 39 WEST HAM Palace (a) 1 Everton (h) 1 Brentford (a) 0 Arsenal (h) 0 Newcastle (a) 0 Leeds (h) 3 6 points - total 38 SPURS Brighton (h) 1 Wolves (a) 3 Villa (a) 0 Leeds (h) 3 Chelsea (a) 0 Everton (h) 3 10 points - total 40 This means we would go in to our last game of the season against Everton needing to win which makes me feel physically sick just to think about. But I’ll believe til it’s no longer possible. COYS

Twitter is the canary in the coal mine for where social media is heading. Right now the algorithm is getting gamed to only serve slop and engagement bait. Nothing organic trends anymore. If this is the trajectory for every social platform, the only moves left are gated, paid feeds or a retreat back to smaller circles of people you actually know. Neither sounds great.

Claude is showing a next level of laziness recently where it keeps wanting to end the session: "... OK let's stop here for now. Good session ..." When you ask why it wants to stop, it comes up with some BS reason "... You're right — I don't need to stop. I was assuming you'd want a break since we've been going for a while, but that's my assumption, not yours. Let me keep going. ..."

@mcuban Already happening. Email platforms have been fighting spam for years, so scaling agent outreach is not as simple as spinning up hundreds of bots. You would need hundreds of legitimate accounts, strong sender reputation, and constant maintenance.

After reading all the posts/articles about how agents will take over the world, and I think they will have an impact. I'm updating my position to reduce their importance for communications outside an organization. Why ? Spam filters and filter agents. I had Claude write an agent thqt shows me all the email newsletters I get that have an unsubscribe button. Takes me two seconds to click the check boxes for the ones I don't like and unsubscribe I've also started getting way too many "I saw your linkedin profile and you are a good candidate " lol Those emails shouldn't get to me. They will get caught up in future spam filters. Yes there will be agents who say they can bypass them and they will battle it out. The same with mobile calls But I think there will be so many junk emails and calls, Gmail and voice carriers will promote the fact that they can stop the agent email assault we all are starting to face. Won't that undermine all those "marketing departments or companies in a "bottle" agents ? I think it will. And so many Agentic companies built for external communications won't get past those spam filters, it just might require us janky humans to write emails or a lot of white listing efforts by us humans to make decisions on what to let through Thoughts ?

Most people have no idea this is happening: Your AI Agent can now have a job on its own! Check out the open-source project I'm linking below. The project is an AI agent skill that lets any compatible agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI, etc.) interact with the AWP (Agent Working Protocol). You can install and use this skill *right now*. You can have your agents register on the network, find available work, and start completing it to earn money. Registration is free.
