Why do men do this? 😭😭😭 At what age does it actually stop? Is it confidence or a sign of something deeper? I’m curious.

UPDATE: STATEMENT: The Kubheka family would like to confirm that #Mazwi Mpumelelo Kubheka, who was reported missing on 2 April 2026, has been found alive. On 2 May 2026, Mazwi was released by his captors in a veld in Ekurhuleni. He managed to make his way to a nearby road, where he was assisted by a taxi driver who transported him towards Vosloorus. He was dropped off near a roadblock, where he approached the officers on duty and told them his name. They immediately recognised him due to the widespread awareness of his case and assisted him. The officers then directed him to the Vosloorus Police Station. As they were attempting to locate the taxi that had transported him, they asked him to proceed into the station on his own, which he did. It was there that he sought help, identified himself again, and the family was contacted. We are overwhelmed with gratitude to have him back home. While he is safe, Mazwi is currently in a fragile condition and is receiving medical care and emotional support as he recovers from this traumatic experience. We kindly ask for privacy during this time as he focuses on healing. Mazwi is not ready to speak publicly at this stage but will address the public when he is able to. The Kubheka family will, however, engage with the public and media, as they have stood with us and supported us throughout this difficult ordeal. We would like to sincerely thank the community, friends, and everyone who offered support, prayers, and assistance. Your kindness has meant more than words can express. @eNCA @Abramjee

Mazwi has been missing for over 20 days. WHAT WE KNOW: An individual, whose identity remains undisclosed, has provided information indicating that Mazwi was abducted by occupants of a white Corolla lacking a visible registration plate. It has been alleged that a Pakistani national, who previously operated a tuck shop, was requested to vacate the premises by the landlord. Following their refusal, the landlord reportedly ask the community members to facilitate their eviction before Mazwi moved into the tuckshop to run his business. Upon inquiry by the sister to individuals and friends frequenting the tuck shop, it was revealed that an individual named Zulu had been pressuring Mazwi to sell his tuck shop to "Pakistanis." Mazwi had consistently declined these requests, as he did not understand the motivation behind the persistent requests to divest ownership of the tuck shop. A missing person’s case was opened on the 05th of April @SAPoliceService @Abramjee

At his most vulnerable, the person trusted by Mr Nkosi chose betrayal. This “leak” isn’t just unethical, it’s cruel, it’s evil. Whoever received it and found joy in his pain reveals a deeply troubling lack of humanity. Disgusting from the “source” And no! Passing it on in aid to help is not an excuse!

Something big is brewing. A cryptic voicenote has been shared about Nimrod Nkosi looking for a new job. On the voicenote Nimrod bemoans that after 20 years in the industry, he is contemplating taking a different direction. Not clear on what that would be, but re tlabe rele daar when "Mr Lotto" finally reveals his moves. Looks like something big is coming.

@luphumlongcayis I’d argue that PHD holders themselves should not use the prefix DR. Instead use the suffix, PHD after their name it holds more weight (in my opinion)while not confusing the title for an MD. I like how the Americans do it, that is how I will do it!

I would hope our universities are explicit with recipients of honorary doctorates about protocol. These are not academic qualifications earned through study, examination and research therefore an honorary doctorate is not a licence for the recipient to adopt the honorific ‘Dr’ in public or in professional life. Its use is limited to formal engagements linked to the awarding institution. As members of the public we have no business addressing the honoraries as Dr, neither should they identify themselves with that honorific. I stand to be corrected.

Twist our words. Misrepresent our position. Call us whatever names you want. Accuse us of things we have never said. It changes nothing. We will never under any circumstances stand with a xenophobic agenda that turns the poor against the poor while the real architects of poverty, unemployment, inequality and criminality walk free. We know what it means when mobs take the law into their own hands. We have seen it before - the humiliation, the terror, the burning of homes, the destruction of lives in broad daylight while the rule of law collapses. That is not justice. That is a descent into barbarism. We refuse to celebrate that. We refuse to be silent about it. We refuse to normalise it. Our country was not built on hatred. It was built on struggle, on solidarity, on the belief that an injury to one is an injury to all. When we allow violence against the most vulnerable, we are tearing apart the very fabric of our democracy. We will not be part of turning South Africa into a skunk of the world again, a place feared by the world and unsafe for its own people. We will stand, firmly and unapologetically, for humanity, for justice, and for the rule of law, no matter how loudly we are insulted for it. These videos do not represent us - we are ashamed!

@ewnupdates @SizweDhlomo The commission wasted its own budget by not sticking to its scope. To investigate the capture of the Police Dept by certain individuals not investigate every corruption case. Corruption is a crime and must be punished however its not capture. It should focus on the masterminds
