@travisreier Brunswick-Golden Isles is another easy one. Disaster looms in ATL for layovers. ATL is easy if you aren’t checking a bag and have clear. Last year I made it from home in ATL to being in the water in Key West in just under 3 hrs.

@smithcasey10 Key West is great. We flew in there to get married 30 years ago. So her opinion might differ lol. I like access ATL has to everywhere but experience last Saturday night is still #toosoon.

The thin-skinned performative anger is why people detest the LIV whiners so much. Joel's piece was incredibly fair, a recap of events followed by a measured opinion, which is *his job.* The screenshots below are as tough as he got. Believe me, it could be worse. Calling Joel a "prick" for this is about as petty as it gets. They're so mired in their own grievance-y propaganda that they can't handle someone with a different opinion. Grotesque way to behave imo.

So good! I retold this story to our golf group today on the course. The landing strips were small at Le Golf! I was in Paris! Hella fun but got whipped after the 1st session @K_Kisner @harmanbrian were definitely needed. The 1st tee at a Ryder Cup should have an unwritten rule that the tee shot is a full send Driver. Most hit irons in Paris off #1 with 60k fans cheering behind them. It was the best vibe until the anticlimactic iron off 1st tee.

Ha! And if you doubt their reach and impact just check the annual earnings of the top content golfers/brands. Paige, Horvat, Bob Does Sports, Fore Play, Good Good, Bryan Bros, Bryson, etc. are all netting 7 figures plus and up, in profit from content. It takes a lot of subs and views to hit those numbers.

Bryson has clowned himself of late (what’s new, right?), but don’t underestimate the reach of YouTube golf. Folks with zero vibe shooting 77s are getting hundreds of thousands of views on every drop. Maybe it’ll have a Vanilla Ice shelf-life but for now, it’s a gold mine for BAD.

Joey Freshwater’s nickname is changing to Lane Sharpton. Using fake racism in recruiting while also playing the “they love me” narcissist card is a new low for him. Lane should check the crime rates in both cities before grifting. It’s not close and not in his favor. I am sure he doesn’t want SEC coaches using those stats against him in recruiting either. I know a few lifelong residents of Baton Rouge that are spending a lot less time there and more on the gulf coast as a result of the crime. I know a few people who reside in Oxford that love the town and wouldn’t ever leave because it’s like a college Mayberry. The crime rates don’t lie on which place is better to live.

I get coaches say things to get a recruiting advantage all the time but - to publicly label a very large group of people as hateful racists to get one - feels beyond the pale even for Lane.

@travisreier In 2002 at @RTJGolf Silver Lakes I watched the Bev Cart girl swerve scared of the flying geese on an over water bridge. Herself, her cart, the booze, chips, sandwiches and her mascara wound up in the lake! It was a scene!
