This is Nives Meroi, a 63-year-old Italian alpinist. She has summited all 14 peaks over 8,000 meters (including Manaslu RP) without supplemental oxygen. In 2023, at the age of 61, she summited 7,318m Kabru South via a new route (West Face). This weekend, she made the first ascent of the West Face of 7,412m Kabru (new route). She climbed without bottled oxygen or fixed ropes. In 2024, she was awarded the Piolet d'Or Special Mention for Female Mountaineering.

@TheDomino I've always thought that true price transparency on costs was the ultimate competitive winner of the race to the bottom. If I tell people how much my boats cost to make and that i'm selling it at a fair price, doesn't that win everytime?

Politics aside...seriously...politics aside... I would welcome efforts by any company to provide more price transparency...it only helps consumers make more educated decisions, knowing what goes into the price they pay for goods & services... In the case of tariffs...it may also provide some parameters on what producing goods in America could end up looking like in terms of cost to end users. More than what they're used to...but maybe less than what goods w/ tariffs cost? But that's just me...what do you think?
