It feels surreal to finally say this, but I've been working for @ParallelTCG for almost 2 months as a Game Designer. I'm incredibly stoked to be working alongside @andrewveen and the rest of the Parallel team to make this game one you can all be proud of. I've made major contributions to Haven, the "Shotgun" patch, Alpha rework, and WAY more I joined this community as a nobody and was blessed to wear many hats along my journey: - I was a coach for @exile_xyz (I will deeply miss practice sessions before tournaments) - I was a content creator (still will do @PilledGaming with @The_Badgy) - I was an ambassador - I casted and was a podcast cohost for the @Parallel_League (this I'll still be doing) I want to thank this community for being the most genuine gaming community I've ever been a part of. I can tell you now on the inside, the people working at Parallel are insanely passionate. We are going to blow you away as the game continues to grow (hopefully). Expect more from me on the timeline about my journey, and my thoughts on the game from time to time. Excited to start this next chapter.

Unfiltered thoughts on wayfinder and PROMPT TGE - Communication was terrible. I think everyone can agree here. I absorb all info on the entire ecosystem 24/7 and even I was confused about a lot going into TGE. Kaito campaign. This one hurts me, a lot. So much could’ve been done differently. I signed up for kaito only because of wayfinder end of March. Grinded hard with expectations of having until end of day April 13, which was communicated numerous times (even the day before the sudden change). They announced on 4/10 that suddenly it’s over and snapshot was 4/8. A 5 day discrepancy. The difference this made for me personally was getting 1,800 vs ~18,000 PROMPT. Had I failed to reach 100 on my own, on original timeline, it’s just a skill issue and there is no one to “blame” but myself. That’s not the case, though. I was number 7 on 12 month mindshare and top 20 on all other time frames, consistently. Missing out on thousands of PROMPT / dollars from a sudden change, while seeing people who don’t even care about the eco or who barely talked about it, get 10,000+ PROMPT sucks (there are numerous examples). This is disheartening. I’m not saying the newly initiated shouldn’t be rewarded. The 0 to minimal effort folks got a big drop, which should never happen. All of this and Kaito claims got MEV attacked from poor security on Kaito leading to high sell pressure. People who have locked up thousands of dollars of PRIME and collected avatars (down 40% and final snapshot not even taken) are down bad compared to people who just sent a few tweets, a lot of them not even about wayfinder. Even with factoring in the next 26 months of drip, a lot of 90+ yappers are getting more allocation immediately than 50-75% of cachers over 2+ years (quick dirty napkin math). Obviously more than the minimum 2 prime cachers, but also more than high ranking cachers. You could have known and done absolutely nothing the past year and still be in better position than a lot of early supporters. No, I’m not upset about my caching allocation, it’s exactly what was expected. Kaito campaign was a great idea, and I’m thankful they made it for emerging yappers only. I understand the importance of social attention, but the massive reward for yapping seems very imbalanced and should have been structured differently. No, it’s not my job to figure out how. Simple ideas are less allocation or make it drip over time, like caching. Probably both. Having 1 day for OKX delegations is an absolute nightmare and likely caused thousands to be lost in scams and incorrect delegations trying to rush. 490 prompt for each binance alpha trader with ensuing massive full stack dumps is sad. Not sure how much control wayfinder team has on these so will leave it at this. This feels like a smack in the face to a lot of OGs who have stuck around and fought for Parallel / Wayfinder from the beginning. We’ve put our money where our mouth is and attention wholly on the eco for years. Can’t cry in the casino and whatever is true with gambling, but these were supposed to be controlled environments with controlled incentives. I’m not venting about prices. I know the risks with buying assets, caching, etc. Yes I’m still thankful to get anything. Yes, people are allowed to have emotions and give fair, honest critique. Yes, I’m still here for the long term. I believe in the team and I believe they’ll look at the shortcomings, reflect, and make improvements going forward. None of this impacts my conviction in the game changing tech. With all of this said, this is the first time in years I’ve let emotions take me over, and that’s on me. Alright, @AIWayfinder launched today. Some people are upset or confused so let's talk about it. This is *all* solely my opinion. The Good: - The tech is incredible. A lot of people are late to the party and upset over the airdrop mechanics, etc., but this isn't vaporware. I challenge you to actually use the product and then look at everything from a revised perspective. - Wayfinder's team (which is a part of Parallel Studios) is A+. They have a spotless track record of doing things the right way and have always acted with the interests of the community in mind. - Wayfinder / $PROMPT is getting listed by nearly every T1 exchange on Day 1. This is incredible for exposure... but frankly, exchanges are not on your side. There's a lot that goes on behind the scenes here. Still, this is good exposure. - Major rewards were distributed to the community, be that OG cachers or Kaito. Rewarding community supporters is good and important. Massive airdrops like this usually lead to initial sell pressure... once the jeeters jeet, things stabilize. - Wayfinder is playing in a multi-bazillion dollar sandbox. The tech they're building lays rails for the entire crypto industry. Think bigger than the 50m MC you are looking at rn. The Bad: - Comms has not been great. I am deeply plugged into the community and even I have had points of confusion on what/where/when to do things. This is also not my first rodeo, so I'm sure less experienced users have been totally lost. There's no sugar-coating this, team should have done better. - I believe there have been warped expectations regarding OG cachers vs. Kaito yappers. If you look at the math breakdown, it's clear that cachers are going to earn more over time than Kaito yappers who get a larger chunk up front. This *was* explained, but frankly I don't think people tried hard enough to understand it and that falls on the team to drill comms harder. Optically, however, I would have liked to see either Kaito rewards decreased or cache rewards increased to better align with community expectations. - The importance of points could have been explained better. A lot of people cached small amounts of $PRIME semi-recently and are pissed they received basically dust. Yes, that's how it works when you base the rewards on points accumulated over time. You'd think this would be obvious, but it falls on the team to make sure this is communicated thoroughly. - Market conditions are nearly all time low atm. This is a 5b FDV project masquerading as a 200m FDV one. Some hopium here, sure, but all jokes aside the timing on this did Wayfinder no favors. With all of that in mind, I just want to say that I have complete faith in @templecrash, @ParallelTCGpod, @Fitchinverse, and the rest of the Parallel Studios/Wayfinder team. If you're reading this and frustrated by this experience, just know that these guys work tirelessly to do right by their community. You are gonna make it. Believe in something.

I think the real reason I was a bit upset today was because the prompt hopium was allowing me to avoid acknowledging the reality that my crypto and jpegs are down astronomically. I was just wrong about the market. Can't blame anyone else for my over-expectations.

In hindsight, You could’ve used the community tools to find out how much Prompt you would earn. Then use some math to find out how much you’ll receive on TGE. Then insert your estimated FDV on TGE and get your expected value 🤷‍♂️

@ParallelAiRev True, but smol-brains like myself only had community made estimates of what they were getting 100% of, so it wasn't entirely clear. At least to me! The points and badges that affected leaderboard position, and so presumably allocation, were a bit more opaque also.

Every cacher received <100%> of their earned $PROMPT (10 of 36 months) Most will earn $PROMPT throughout the remaining period <113 Weeks> There is still 30% of Total Supply in the contract You really have to read the fine print to know what you are farming my guys
