@cryptodavidw its going to be k-shaped with the underclass living largely virtual lives and the overclass regressing to offline living. Mobile-first just seems hard to do with vr iirc google tried this a while back with google cardboard and it didn't really catch on.

@smplrandom it's such a no brainer that there's room for a messive second life like universe in VR, and that 10 years from now you'll get people spending a lot of time there. But also, most people spend time on their phones right now, and so it makes sense to make it mobile first maybe?

IMO Meta fumbled so badly with Horizon, I spent some time there and it's just a bad experience. Instead of trying to do this in house they should have funded a bunch of companies to produce horizon-like games on the quest, so that maybe one them end up being the one

If you do, then you die [since you'd still be falling at terminal velocity when you get teleported back]
If it resets your velocity though then this is basically free
