The keto and carnivore communities seem to have developed a fear of acknowledging calories. Mention tracking and some people act like you're promoting some outdated dogma. Look, I track meticulously during prep. My clients hit their macro targets within 5 grams daily because I need accurate data to make adjustments. That precision matters for specific goals. But does everyone need to track obsessively? No. If you're eating quality whole foods and happy with your results, intuitive eating works fine. The problem is when people refuse to track out of principle, then wonder why they're not progressing. You can't manage what you don't measure. Bottom line: Use tracking as a tool when needed, not as a religion or something to fear.
