I am glad that everyone seems to understand that correlation does not imply causation.
But - sometimes there is some causation where there is correlation.
(I feel like perhaps that message is getting lost in all our collective causal identification proselytizing.)

I've heard/read multiple anecdotes from Tesla and SpaceX employees who say those companies have firm systems in place to make sure none of Musk's decisions are enacted, and I 100% believe them.

IMO the most important part of the new admissions paper is confirming the finding that college choice mostly doesn’t matter.
Biggest exception they find is for graduate school — if there’s a problem it’s a problem mostly for academia itself!
