Germany announced plans to send 900k Syrian refugees back home. Syria rejected the plan and said they should stay in Germany. Syria wants them to keep collecting German welfare, a portion of which is sent back to Syrian families. Germany is subsidizing the Syrian economy.

With the region consumed by war, expansion of the Abraham Accords has the best chance of creating long-term peace. The Accords have already proven that peace is possible. I applaud the President for reversing the flawed decision by the Secretary of Defense to withdraw a second Armored Brigade from Eastern Europe. Our Eastern European NATO friends are model allies and our presence creates deterrence. cnn.com/2026/05/22/pol…

The Pentagon blindsided Poland and pulled an armored brigade out of Eastern Europe while Russia is still waging war in Ukraine. This sends a weak message to Putin and is a slap in the face to our NATO allies. We need answers and accountability from DoD.

States are currently *prohibited* from asking for proof of citizenship when anyone registers to vote at a DMV—even if they suspect citizenship is question. The SAVE America Act would fix that.
