It would also be interesting to have a 'lab' where new ideas could be genetically engineered. This could be done by specifying the desired characteristics of the new idea (e.g. 'an idea that combines the core principles of capitalism and communism'), and then using a process similar to genetic evolution (mutation, selection, etc) to 'evolve' an idea that meets those criteria. The lab could also be used to create 'chimera' ideas by combining the genetic material of two or more different ideas.
