@USAmbNATO A strategic game is unfolding—Europe is likely to give way this summer. The U.S. has positioned itself, strategically and legally, for a confrontation with Europe. It takes a few minutes to read, but here are all the details on what’s coming: samfunnogpolitikk.no/en/internation…

With the NATO Alliance, it’s a two way street. The U.S. wants Allies who will show up when we need support.

🇩🇪🇮🇷🇺🇸 Chancellor Merz: "We are committed to quickly ending Iran’s blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. If the necessary conditions are met, Germany stands ready to engage militarily to ensure the freedom of sea routes." From "A whole nation is humiliated by the Iran" to "we are ready to fight". Apparently it looks less humiliating once you sign up for it.
Mario Nawfal@MarioNawfal

🇺🇸🇩🇪 Chancellor Merz called Trump's Iran policy "humiliating" and now he's getting the bill. Trump just threatened to review and reduce the 35,000 U.S. troops stationed in Germany, more than a fifth of all American forces deployed overseas. Merz is already backpedaling, claiming he has a great relationship with Trump. That's what happens when you take a shot at Trump's foreign policy and miss.

Donald Trump has just provided the final proof that he is not only a dangerous clown, but an active collaborator with the greatest war criminal of our time. After a 90-minute intimate phone call with Putin - the man who is having tens of thousands of Ukrainians slaughtered, who uses poison gas, torture, and systematic rape as tactics of war, the worst mass murderer since Hitler - this self-proclaimed “strongman” posts on Truth Social that he is seriously considering withdrawing American troops from Germany. This is not a change in policy. This is treason. This is the moment when the US president stabs NATO in the back while Putin is setting Europe ablaze. Trump is deliberately leaving Europe defenseless. He is sacrificing the safety of 450 million Europeans for a brief, dirty tête-à-tête with a dictator whose troops are currently committing war crimes. And he does it publicly, without shame, without even an attempt at disguise. Anyone who still claims that this is "America First" is deliberately lying. This is Putin First. This is the broken soul of a man who admires dictators because he wants to be one himself. Trump despises the allies, despises democracy, despises anyone who doesn't grovel before him. He doesn't see Putin as an enemy of the free world—he sees a kindred spirit. This 90-minute call wasn't a conversation. It was a deal. The withdrawal of troops from Germany isn't "negotiating tactics." It's payment.

Trump, after having a 90 min phone call with Putin, puts out a truth social that he is considering withdrawing all troops from Germany. Something sinister is going on between them. It’s time for “concerned” Republicans to speak out

President Trump is doing one hell of a lot of talking about considering withdrawing troops from Germany, Italy, Spain, etc. When is he going to stop talking and actually do it? No one in Europe is forcing or asking the US to stay, pack up your stuff, close the bases, and go home. It's that simple, and we all wish you the best.

- Alexander Stubb President of Finland: "Finland has 1340 kilometers border with Russia. In Lapland, above Arctic, we are 100 kilometers from biggest nuclear arsenal in the world. Those nuclear weapons are not directed at Helsinki, Stockholm, or Oslo. They are directed at Washington, New York, or Los Angeles. So, it's in vested interest that countries like Finland, Sweden, and Norway can continue to monitor what is happening with these nuclear weapons and share intelligence with United States. I think what will happen is controlled burden-sharing within Alliance is we will probably see less troops from United States in Europe, less conventional material, which will be replaced by Europeans. But I believe NATO will stay strong because it's in military and political interest of United States to to have close allies." He is right......😉

It has been clear for a long time that Trump is on the side of the dictator Putin I think we'll know why in a very few months I have many American friends and every single one of them prefers the European democratic countries Trump is not acting in his country's best interests

Trump: Today Is the Day You Pick a Side! Whose side are you on? Russia or NATO? Walk up to a camera. Look into the lens. Say it out loud. NATO or Russia. That is the entire question, and there is no space between those two answers where you get to hide. Thirty-one sovereign nations that have housed your troops, shared your intelligence, bought your weapons and bled alongside your soldiers for decades are now sitting with genuine, serious doubt about where your loyalty actually sits. You did that. You earned that doubt entirely on your own. So here is what we need: say that Russia is an adversary of the West. On camera. Without winking. Without a “but.” Just say it like a man who means it. Because if the answer is not clear, unambiguous and convincing, NATO should do the only rational thing: remove the United States from the alliance. As self-preservation. Keeping a potentially compromised actor inside the most sensitive military alliance on earth is a security catastrophe waiting to happen. This is a red line. And we are standing on it right now. Macron: get in front of that camera. Look straight into it. Trump. Which side? Russia or NATO. Merz: same camera, same question. Trump. Which side? Russia or NATO. Meloni, Starmer, Tusk, Sanchez, Frederiksen, Støre, Kristersson, Stubb, Mitsotakis, Montenegro, Fiala, Golob, Plenovic, Rama, Nauseda, Rinkevics, Karis, Frieden, Spajic, Mickoski. All of you. One by one. Camera on. Eyes forward. Trump. Which side? Russia or NATO. We are not in a grey zone. NATO no longer knows whether the man in the Oval Office is a partner or a liability. Intelligence services across the continent are already restricting what they share with Washington. The question hanging over every classified briefing, every military operation, every strategic plan is this: does this end up on Putin’s desk by morning? If Trump’s answer is Russia, and his behaviour suggests it is, then NATO’s most sensitive secrets are not secrets at all. They are gifts. Every troop position, every contingency plan, every back-channel communication becomes material that could be passed to Moscow by a man who is compromised sits at the top of the Western alliance. That is the logical conclusion of what we are watching in real time. NATO to Trump: Answer the F. question! Stay connected, Follow Gandalv @Microinteracti1

BREAKING: President Trump says he'll consider pulling U.S. troops out of Italy and Spain after hinting he may do so with Germany. "Why shouldn't I? Italy has not been of any help to us and Spain has been horrible." "When we needed them, they were not there." "We didn't need any help with Iran... I didn't need their help, but I said, yeah, we'd love to have your help because I wanted to see if they'd do it. And in all cases, they said we don't want to get involved."

If there can be “no return to normal” with Russia, as EU’s Kaja Kallas suggests, then Brussels is effectively locking in a permanently divided Europe. What does that mean for economies like Germany?
euDebates.tv@eudebates

@kajakallas WAR WARNING: “No Return to Normal with Russia” – EU Draws the Line! In a powerful statement from Kuressaare, Estonia, Kaja Kallas, EU High Representative, delivers a stark message on Europe’s security future. Speaking at the Nordic-Baltic Eight Foreign Ministers’ meeting, Kallas warns that there can be no return to “business as usual” with Russia — even after the war in Ukraine ends. She highlights growing global tensions, from instability in the Middle East to disruptions in trade and energy flows, while stressing that freedom of navigation remains non-negotiable. On Ukraine, the message is firm: Europe will continue to provide financial, military, and political support until Russia’s aggression fails. With EU loans and sanctions already in place, Kallas underlines that Russia’s war is leading nowhere. She also warns of escalating hybrid threats — from cyberattacks to disinformation — and calls for stronger European defense, increased spending, and greater readiness to deter future aggression. 👉 Is Europe entering a new era of confrontation? Watch the full speech to understand the stakes. “Deterrence Must Be Credible”: Kallas Calls for Stronger EU Defense & Support for Ukraine! #KajaKallas #Russia #Ukraine #Defense #Geopolitics #NATO #Security #HybridWar #EuropeanUnion #BreakingNews #eudebates

Good riddance. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. As I wrote in my book TheOwnedContinent.eu, Europe should call Trump's bluff by welcoming this as something that would liberate this continent from 🇺🇸control (and Trump's extortionate abuse of that control). America needs its European military occupation to project its power across the world. Without those 🇺🇸bases in Germany (&🇬🇧🇮🇹etc) Trump couldn't have launched the Iran War (maybe he now wishes the Europeans had stopped him). Threats to pull out of the occupation are a bluff, intended only to extort surrender from European leaders. So far it's worked. NATO is being used as a tool to control and extort Europe, and the solution to freeing Europe from the extortion is to end the tool - as I wrote on Substack last week: davekeating.substack.com/p/pentagon-mem…

Unfortunately, Trump has woken up and is still angry because Merz said that Trump quite obviously went into the Iran war without any strategy. But the world knows that Trump had no strategy then and still doesn't.
