If I had to take an app from $0 to $100K MRR in 6 months, here's exactly what I'd do. Month 1: Pick the right niche, not the best idea. Before I built anything, I'd run the niche through four questions: -Are there way more creators than brands competing for them? (cheap reach) - Can my product seamlessly fit into the content these creators already make? (native integration) - Does the niche's format go viral on its own? (transformations, before/afters) - Do those creators have audiences that actually trust them? If a niche checks 3-4 of those, that's where I'm building. If it checks 0-1, I don't care how good the idea is, I'm out. Month 2: Build the thinnest possible version that delivers one result. I’m talking about one feature that solves one painful problem in seconds, not an entire platform. If a user can't experience the "oh, that's cool" moment in the first 10 seconds of opening the app, nothing else matters. Month 3: Find ONE creator who converts. I'd send a wave of DMs to mid-tier creators in the niche, get a handful to post, and watch the comment sections like a hawk. I'm looking for "wait, what app is this?" not just vanity views. The moment one creator produces that, I've found my channel. Month 4: Clone the winner. Once one creator converts, there are 100 more just like them. Identify influencers with similar content styles and audiences and run a copy-paste operation. Sign as many of those lookalikes as the budget allows. Month 5: Build the machine. I'd systematize everything: outreach, contracts at the click of a button, a tracker for deliverables and comment sections. Month 6: Pour fuel on the fire. By now I know which creators convert and why. You can still test, but start locking the winners into longer deals. Take the videos that worked and run them as paid ads too as budgets allow. Now organic reach AND predictable paid scale are compounding at the same time. Building the product itself isn’t hard, it's honestly having the discipline to bet on the right niche, find creators and formats, and refuse to get distracted until the machine is running.
