What is a fair price that someone should have to pay to register and unconditionally guarantee ownership of a 5-letter .eth domain for 100 years?

@punk9059 @the_x2y2 Honestly, not all creators and artists should be getting royalties. How about Syberer & Pixelmon when Kevins were hot and selling to 8 eth? Or Zagabond + Azuki when everyone was dumping because of the controversy. It’s not so clear royalties always make sense.

Investors care a lot more about liquidity than royalties. So the move to 0 royalties was not inevitable unless an exchange with lots liquidity chose that path. @the_x2y2 making the move and then saying “we like royalties! this was inevitable” misses that point.

@punk9059 @the_x2y2 Hm. Im not sure x2y2 is realistically competing with OS - I think they are competing with Sudo & Gem & looksrare. If that’s true, then the decision makes a lot more sense.

@CirrusNFT Degods and SMB don’t have that much volume compared to top ETH collections because of dedicated holders. Not many trades happen daily. Y00ts going to high profile influencers who are probably going to hold onto their only Y00ts. Public sell shaming is a real concern.
