If I had to say the place where I would like to see this print exhibited, I would not say a gallery in Paris, but a garage in California, because that's where the best recordings, paintings, technologies in the world are born:-)

Две недели тому назад в Штутгарте я получил премию имени первого федерального президента Германии Теодора Хойса. В программе церемонии не была предусмотрена речь лауреата; вместо этого после вручения памятной медали я должен был дать интервью на сцене профессору Гезине Шван. Но поднявшись на подиум и получив награду, окинув взглядом зал, в котором собрались десятки известных немецких политиков и общественных деятелей, я понял, что мне есть, что сказать этой аудитории. И попросил слова. Это, наверное, не самая складная речь — экспромт, без бумажки — но это то, что я говорю про Россию и о России всегда, когда у меня есть возможность выступить перед западной аудиторией.
