The soldier below, seen throwing grenades and firing in southern Lebanon, is Israeli footballer and Hapoel Hadera captain Menashe Zalka. FIFA is aware of Israeli players’ involvement in war crimes—yet does nothing. Kicking a ball on weekends, committing atrocities on weekdays.

Israel's Channel 14 celebrates the trigger-happy Captain of Hap'oel Khadera, Menashe' Zelka, as he throws a grenade and shoots around in South Lebanon. #RacismInFootball #KickItOut #UEFA #FIFA #RedCardIsrael

Denmark's representative to Eurovision 2026, Søren Torpegaard Lund, posted a photo of a laptop with the stickers "FCK HMS" and "AM YISRAEL FUCKING CHAI". What the fuck is this shit?!? How is a Danish singer allowed to openly support a genocidal ideology?!

The fascist German regime no longer has to build death camps for anti-genocide journalists — all it needs to do is block them and their families from leaving the country, deny them access to the financial system, and criminalise any attempt to come to their aid. Barbaric.

Today was one of the most horrifying days of my life as an academic. Walking through Iran University of Science and Technology, a top-ranked public university in Iran, I was struck by the devastation. Only last month, this campus was alive with students, bustling between classrooms. Now, parts of the campus lie in ruins, classrooms shattered, hallways choked with dust and shattered glass. I saw the offices of professors burned. A newly renovated building, where students gathered for programs, for socializing, for life, destructed. One student, tearfully, told me: “My professor’s office was still burning a little. That’s where I used to wait for office hours. To ask questions. To appeal my grade.” This is the same university that launched Iran’s Omid and Zafar 2 satellites, symbols of homegrown technological achievement. A week ago, one of its professors was assassinated. Yesterday, they bombed it. From sanctions to targeted killings, to the bombing of research centers and universities, there’s a clear pattern: de-development & de-industrialisation/ the systematic dismantling of a nation’s indigenous development, its industrial base, its capacity to stand on its own. We will never forget that as the American and Zionist war criminals blatantly target universities, schools, hospitals/ assassinating professors and killing children, and after 2 years or genocice, western intellectuals are still debating whether or not to pass a symbolic, non-enforceable BDS resolution. Photos taken by me, full report incoming.

Multiple areas across Iran are reportedly under attack, with strikes targeting locations southeast and west of Tehran, explosions heard west of the capital, renewed raids on sites in Isfahan including a gas station on Kaveh Street, and the bombing of a drinking water storage facility in Haftgel, Khuzestan. an average of one school every hour ... they are envious & fearful of how educated, literate & productive iranian society is & want to destroy its human potential as well infrastructure
Furkan Gözükara@FurkanGozukara

Terrifying reality check. In just 27 days of their illegal war, the US and Israel have demolished over 600 schools across Iran, martyring more than 1,000 students and teachers. They are systematically destroying civilian infrastructure with zero regard for humanity.

The Guardian’s framing of the outlets as “Pro-Hezbollah” and “Hezbollah-owned” justifies the slaughter of journalists. Gutter journalism designed to whitewash Israeli crimes.

There are no words that can truly hold the grief I feel right now. Israel killed @ftounifatima. I watched you grow over the years into one of Lebanon’s most fearless journalists, and I will always be proud to have called you my friend. Seeing you report the unimaginable loss of your own family in an Israeli strike broke my heart and made me fear for your safety in a way I never had before. I so desperately wish that fear had been unfounded. May you now find peace, reunited with your family and your brother who we lost today with you. Rest in peace, Fatima. You will never be forgotten.

A German Bundestag member convicted of molesting a 7-yr-old lobbied the court to bury his case without a public trial, arguing the trial would damage the German-Israeli Society, where he served as treasurer, invoking the Hamas attack on Israel as justification. The court agreed.

Israel has just killed Lebanese journalist Fatima Ftouni. I am honoured to have known her. Just at the beginning of the month she reported on Israel killing seven members of her own family live on air.

These are Ukrainian born women who fought the Nazis in the ranks of the Red Army during World War II. They sacrificed their youth, their health, and many of them their lives to protect their families from a murderous enemy. And today, a Ukrainian MP Pipa dares to call them “scum.” Then neither she nor any other Ukrainian politician should act surprised when the world forgets Ukraine’s immense contribution to the defeat of Nazism. You are the ones handing that victory over to Russia on a silver platter by spitting on the memory of those who actually fought Nazism, while choosing instead to glorify Nazi collaborators from the OUN, UPA, and the Waffen-SS Galicia Division.

There is a mythology the U.S. built around the American War in Vietnam. It goes like this: Young idealistic soldiers were sent into an unwinnable situation by confused politicians. They came home broken and unappreciated. It was a tragedy. A mistake. A lesson learned. Notice what that story does. It centers Americans. Their trauma. Their confusion. Their homecoming. Their feelings. In this story, the Vietnamese people are a backdrop. A jungle. An obstacle. An abstraction. Three million dead Vietnamese people are the scenery for a story about American self-discovery. They made hundreds of movies about Vietnam. The Deer Hunter. Apocalypse Now. Platoon. Full Metal Jacket. Born on the Fourth of July. Hamburger Hill. Count how many of them center a Vietnamese character with a full human life, a family, a name you remember after the credits roll. They turned our genocide into their coming-of-age story. They lost the war and still managed to make themselves the main character. And then, with extraordinary arrogance, they put their soldiers' names on a wall in Washington and call it a memorial, as if the dead to be mourned were the people who flew 10,000 miles to do the killing. Where is the wall for our three million? There isn't one. Because in their telling, we were never quite real enough to mourn.
