I met a software developer with over 10 years of experience who said it was their dream to go to a specific tech conference but they couldn't afford to go.
That's when I realized there are devs with experience that do not have access to resources because they are priced out.
Here's what you don't realize. For the average person, Airfare, Hotel, Food, THEN you get to the conference tickets.
A person may spend $2,000 - $2,500 to attend a $700 conference.
So I decided to make a tech conference that is a $700 conference but make the tickets Forty bucks without them FEELING LIKE they are at a $40 conference.
Meals - covered, 4 external events - Covered, 125 speakers and we donate 100% OF ALL TICKET SALES TO CHARITY! Forty Bucks!
We had 860 in person and 8,100 online for our second year! This year will be year three!

you can now talk to award flight data from Claude
connected awardtravelfinder as an MCP server. ask Claude things like:
"find me business class availability LHR to JFK in march"
"what's the cheapest month to fly BA to new york"
"how many avios do i need for tokyo"
it searches real-time availability across airlines and gives you actual seat counts

There’s always going to be keyboard warriors who speak blindly without knowing the full context or story. Those who watched the stream, or took the time to check the VOD before making assumptions, would understand. Simply watching the VOD makes it clear that when security let her know filming was not allowed, she had no issue leaving the camera with them. When security was holding the camera for Fuzh, she did not instruct them to show her talking to Christopher Judge. She was just having a genuine conversation and simply forgot her mic was on.
Responsibility lies with more than one party here, and it is unfair to approach this situation so blindly and point fingers at just one person.
Intent was never in question to those who were actually present.
Outrage without understanding is noise. Truth remains unchanged. Some of us need to grow up.

I want to clarify something regarding my interaction with Christopher Judge at Fan Expo.
Filming was not allowed. When staff told me that, I immediately handed my tripod/camera to the convention’s security staff to hold. I was not trying to film or record anything.
In the moment, I didn’t even realize my mic was still attached to me, and none of the security staff mentioned it either.
There was absolutely no intention to secretly record, leak information, or “pull insider details.” Anyone who follows me knows I don’t operate like that. I rarely even do IRL content and was genuinely there as a fan to say hello to Christopher, especially after the recent GOW announcements.
I sincerely apologize to any parties affected if this caused discomfort or confusion. It was never intentional.
