On a 5 hour flight. Guy next to me is complaining about high cost of living, how it’s impossible to get ahead, and how rich people are lucky. Meanwhile, he ordered 6+ alcoholic drinks and watched the baseball game before ranting & slurring politics to someone else just as drunk. Moments like this make it pretty clear that it’s not just about luck…it’s about how you spend your time when no one’s watching.

Although I grew up brutally poor in a homeless shelter, single parent house hold, I admit I’ve fully lost scope of money.
I don’t check the price of anything ever.
Even hyper cars (I have 3 Paganis, 3 Koenigseggs, 3 Bugattis) I just buy uncaring of the price.
If I want it.
I buy it.
I just gave my PA 1000 euro to go buy 5 pairs of sweat pants and she asked why I gave so much.
I thought sweatpants are like 100/200 bucks now.
I dunno. Inflations crazy. Maybe?
I don’t know what anything costs.
I just know I have hundreds of millions of dollars.

I'm officially done investing.
I hit my CoastFIRE number!
That means I can stop investing now & still retire early in 10 years at age 45.
Assuming a real return of 5% after inflation, I should be able to live on $100,000/year for 50 years & never run out of money
