@JDVance This makes it even more obvious that she was simply trying to get away from the officer ripping at her door handle, versus trying to hit him as you claimed yesterday. This gaslighting is out of control

@Timodc A point I’m not seeing made is that if he’s looking in her windshield, he’s seeing her cranking the steering wheel to execute her turn. Should be caught on his little cell phone video and will be consistent with her obvious goal: to drive away from the office opening her door

@JDVance @elonmusk She didn’t try to hit him, you disingenuous BS artist. She tried to flee from the officer attempting to open her driver’s side door, at which point the other officer came from her passenger side and stood partially in front of her vehicle, which he is not supposed to do.

This is preposterous. First of all, she's not waving the officers through and has no right to do so even if she were. She is waving another car through, before the officers approach her car. Second, the officers are not randomly searching her, they are approaching her vehicle because she is violating the law: namely, she is obstructing a lawful enforcement operation. You're not allowed to walk up to or drive up to people who are enforcing the law to make it harder for them to do their jobs. Third, this defense attorney is drawing a meaningless distinction between an ICE officer and a "real police officer." Again, you're not allowed to interrupt a lawful enforcement operation, which is exactly what this woman was doing. Fourth, the officer didn't discharge his weapon to prevent her from fleeing. When he discharged his weapon, she had pointed the vehicle at him and pressed the gas. He discharged his weapon in self defense, and other angles of the video show the woman *clearly* hit the officer with her car while accelerating. The gaslighting is off the charts and I'm having none of it. This guy was doing his job. She tried to stop him from doing his job. When he approached her car, she tried to hit him. A tragedy? Absolutely. But a tragedy that falls on this woman and all of the radicals who teach people that immigration is the one type of law that rioters are allowed to interfere with.
Jenin Younes@JeninYounesEsq

I'm a former defense attorney and currently a civil liberties attorney with no political dog in this fight. I watched the video at least 10 times from different angles and at different speeds and waited to offer an opinion, which I still reserve the right to change if additional information changes the calculus. It is very clear that the officers instigated the confrontation. The woman initially tried to wave them past her. ICE officers have no authority to search a US citizen or arrest her (unless there's probable cause to believe she's harboring undocumented individuals, not a contention here). A woman surrounded by masked, armed men who have no law enforcement authority over her has every right to try to escape. Video shows her steering wheel is turned to the right, clearly an attempt to leave WITHOUT hitting anyone and steer clear of the officer standing towards the front of her car. That officer had time to step to the side, which is where he was when he shot her. Even a real police officer would not have the right to shoot at her for trying to flee. This is well-established in the case law; deadly force may not be used simply to prevent someone from getting away. Given that the ICE officers had no law enforcement authority to begin with, AND the video footage shows she was trying to escape a perceived threat, not to kill anyone, the crime is all the more inexcusable. I'm praying for the victim's family, especially her children. I'm also praying for all the conservatives who are so unprincipled and lost they're excusing this terrible crime, and gloating over a death that will leave three young children motherless, because of the victim's politics.

@Pro__Trading @jonfavs She used her vehicle to drive away from the agent attempting to pull her door open. As this happened, the other agent came from her passenger side and positioned himself in front of her vehicle, which he is not supposed to do. GTFOH with using it “as a weapon”

@jonfavs The fact that he was able to neutralize the threat and evade her advance is irrelevant. The minute she hit the accelerator and used her vehicle as a weapon to try and run through the cop the shooting was justified Period.

I don’t understand why everyone is freaking about this Jimmy Kimmel drama. He stunk. No one watched. When’s the last time anyone reading this actually sat down and watched the full show? The comments he made make it seem like a perfect reason why he was yanked off the network. It happens all the time. So many athletes and celebrities and figures lost all these ad deals and network deals due to political/outlandish comments. TDS is so real. Roseanne Barr got yanked off her show “Roseanne” which then became the Conners after she said Valerie Jarrett resembles a character from planet of the apes Kanye got yanked off adidas, balenciaga and gap for saying he was a Nazi Kyrie lost his shoe deal with Nike after his comments Sharon Stone lost her deal with Christian Dior after she called an earthquake in china karma Whoopie Goldberg was dropped by slim fast for comments about president Bush Paula Dean was tossed by the food network cause she admitted to using the n word Gruden was fired from the raiders for comments in an email Megyn Kelly was canceled and dropped from nbc and her talent agency after saying it’s ok to do black face Tucker Carlson was yanked off Fox and lost all of his ad deals due to “inflammatory comments” None of this is new. Comedy isn’t dead you guys are just insane and too dumb to realize when a brand is paying you, come correct. Same goes for politicians. Watch who donates that’s who they will keep happy.

I want to clear up the misinformation about my son Raja. I’ve been confirmed that the wrestler ( Stewart Smith aka Syko Stu) is awake and stable. Raja was unexpectedly hit in the side of the head by him moments before Smith’s match, Raja was told that he could get his “payback”in the ring,i thought it was apart of the show. It was bad judgement, and a work that went wrong. Raja is a MMA fighter not a pro wrestler and had no business involved in an event like this. I don’t condone my son’s actions AT ALL! He suffered a concussion from sparring only days ago and had no business doing anything remotely close to physical contact. As a father, im deeply concerned with his health AND the well being of Mr. Smith. That being said I’m very upset that any of this happened, but my main concern now is that Mr. Smith will make a speedy recovery.I apologize on his behalf and to KICK for the situation.

I’ll go into the details on tonight as I have hundreds of replies to my earlier post and there’s no point replying to them all. So this fella has had his season ticket for many years at Anfield. He’s passionate but often takes things way too far but it is what it is. He has crossed the line before by throwing stuff at officials (usually chewing gum) and stewards looked embarrassed rather than do anything. So I guess that’s allowed his behaviour to escalate maybe in his brain. About 28 mins into the game, Semenyo goes to take a throw in. He’s not a player that goads the fans and seems like a decent lad. The sort of player that people want playing for their club. For reasons I’ll never know, the fella near me in bay 7 (I’m bay 9) decides to go over to him in his wheelchair and shouts something at Semenyo. Semenyo then asks him to repeat it and he repeated it and threw his chewing gum at him. Then 2 mins later the play is stopped. The fella next to me says he hopes Mark hasn’t said anything racist to Semenyo but then I’m getting texts from people saying it’s about the fan in the wheelchair allegedly abusing Semenyo. We missed the first goal because all of us were uncomfortable being around this guy, who’s now sat in silence, probably realising what he’s done and he’s soon to be in the shit. We didn’t want him near us and people (including myself) were calling him a racist prick. It was just uncomfortable to be around and we wanted him gone. The stewards didn’t have a clue what was going on either. He was eventually removed from the ground at 21:01 by police. Firstly saying he’d refuse to move and wouldn’t leave but then agreeing to leave, then kicking off. I’d gone to the toilet by this point but saw him kicking off near the exit. I believe there is some kind of protocol where the police have to remove them and not stewards and they have to get a sort of investigation going first. That’s why it took them 30 mins to get him out of the ground. So the club now have to help the police with an investigation and rightly so. If he’s found to have racially abused Semenyo, he needs to be banned for life. No excuses. Another fan chimed in saying “Semenyo didn’t look upset” so sorta sticking up for the abuser or playing devils advocate. But he just looked shocked to me, which is probably why he asked him to repeat himself. So props to Semenyo for having the brilliant game he had. All 3 goalscorers were black, which was quite fitting really. The irony is, the fella had a “no room for racism” badge on his shirt. I think at the time, it was annoying that we had to be around the prick but I think the club acted as fast as they could. I believe stewards can eject fans if they personally hear abuse but otherwise a report needs to be made for it to happen. On the flip side of this, look at the amount of disability abuse there is in response to this. Discrimination is discrimination, so if you’re making your “edgy jokes” about disability on the back of it, you’re just as bad. I’ve cropped his face out for obvious reasons but it’s incredibly ironic to have that badge on you and then do something like that. There’s obviously going to be a legal process ongoing now. The head steward asked us all a few questions and everyone was helpful. Proud of the way the club acted in response to one prick. Anfield is a very welcoming place to people from all walks of life. Let’s keep it that way.

Paramount+ is the new home of the UFC in the USA, starting in 2026. They have acquired the rights for 7.7 billion over 7 years. The best news for fans? The PPV model is dead. All events are a part of the regular subscription, including numbered shows. First reported by multiple outlets, including CNBC.

"Someone needs to come out and speak out against [Power Slap]... It needs to be stopped. It takes the worst part about combat sports and accelerates it. Why is boxing problematic? Repeat blows to the head if someone's not protecting themselves. And here, the whole point is to not protect yourself and take blows. It's literally taking the unhealthiest aspect and removing the healthiest aspect, which is all the cardio, the training that's required to box." @RealDoctorMike shares why he's against Power Slap.
