@ChaseDaniel EA removed sliders for single player mode users to adjust how must XP they would receive through dynasty and RTG. They added MTs in place to make you either grind a stupid amount or just pay money to advance your coach or player. Crazy work to do this in single player modes.

Explain this to me….I’ve heard the uproar from the gamer community.

@PAPAxC4 This isn’t a middle ground. They took features away that we already had. That’s like me taking $100 from you and agreeing to give back $50, even though you never agreed to give me money in the first place. Them removing features only pushes the games backwards and hurts us.

Coach XP Speed settings have been modified for the upcoming title update in College Football 27. While it’s not them just reverting the changes back to give us full control this seems to be the middle ground being found and we get ‘fast’ coach XP back.

@CFBDirect Still not good enough. Bring back XP sliders to RTG, bring back BOTH XP progressions from your first two games to dynasty, and, for the love of god, get your stupid ass MTs out of single player modes! I will not even consider buying the game until this is fixed. #CFBPlayDontPay

I’m still playing the game. I’m still teaching through the game. And I’m still not spending a dollar on CUT or microtransactions. I get why people are upset. I also think everyone has a choice whether they want to spend money or not. From a business standpoint, I understand why microtransactions exist. They’re in basically every game now. That said, I don’t think the way they handled the XP sliders/paywall was the right move. Hopefully they listen and get that changed for the Dynasty community. Me personally? I’m not a Dynasty or CUT guy. I play Road to Glory (finally got on the field after grinding two seasons 😂) and Road to the College Football Playoff. I love head-to-head, and I love teaching real football through the game. I chose content over coaching because I wanted to teach football to millions instead of just one quarterback room. When you start getting messages from kids saying your YouTube videos helped them earn real-life scholarships, you realize this is way bigger than people arguing over money in a video game. So I’m going to keep posting. Keep teaching. Keep helping people understand football. And if I can entertain along the way, even better.

@realChuckWagonx @Coach_BSimmons There’s a difference between grind and then removing features that allow more freedom to do what you want. EA did the latter. They are forcing you to grind. 10 undefeated seasons and 10 nattys doesn’t even get you halfway to the level cap for XP. That’s BS.

@Coach_BSimmons It is NOT disrupting gameplay. Its FREE to play offline modes but cry babies are whining on here for engagement. If you want to pay for your upgrades then do it, if not, DONT DO it. Its simple. Grind your players and teams the normal way and let them cry over it

College Football 27 Buy or pass? I've been hearing that the new microtransactions are disrupting gameplay, especially in Dynasty and Road to Glory. Is it really that bad, or is the backlash overblown?
