My wife Toby and I are in @Israel becoming citizens. At the Interior Ministry, the official reviewing our papers - a Jew who came from Ethiopia in 1991 - asked me for proof that I was Jewish.
I showed him letters from our rabbi. As I did so, tears began to flow.
I told him: “I remember the 1970s and ’80s, when we marched and protested so Ethiopian Jews could come home to Israel. Back then, many questioned whether Ethiopian Jews were Jewish at all. We insisted our Black brothers and sisters were as Jewish as any of us.”
And now, 35 years later, here was a holy Ethiopian Jew confirming my Judaism.
We had come full circle.
Holding his hand, I sang: “Zeh hayom asah Hashem, nagilah ve’nismechah bo” - This is the day God has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Jews from East and West have returned home together.

400,000 innocent children , women, doctors, nurses, journalists, scientists and regular civilians have been killed or injured in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, and Iran, all by the genocidal and terrorist state of Israel.
Hospitals, schools, universities, ambulances, residential buildings, churches, historical sites, and so much civilian infrastructure have been bombed and destroyed by this terrorist state. All to cause pain and suffering on everyday innocent civilians.
Innocent little children have been jailed and arrested. Male and female prisoners have been raped ,all by this genocidal and terrorist state and their monstrous army of rapists.
What shocks me is not what Israel does, but how much Europe, Canada and world is willing to tolerate from the world’s biggest terrorist state!

At the direction of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz, the IDF has just struck at Mohammed Odeh in Gaza, the new leader of the military wing of the Hamas terrorist organization and one of the architects of the October 7 massacre.
Odeh served as the head of Hamas's intelligence staff during the October 7 massacre and was appointed – about a week ago – to replace Ezzedine al-Haddad, who was eliminated in an IDF strike in the Gaza Strip two weeks ago.
Odeh was responsible for the murder, abduction, and wounding of many Israeli citizens and IDF soldiers.
The IDF and the ISA are commended for the ongoing effort to eliminate our enemies.
We will continue to pursue anyone who took part in the October 7 massacre. Sooner or later, Israel will reach them all.
