When you put a Tika on your forehead, it is a proclamation that the brain behind it is not empty for another faith. It declares to the world that you have picked one faith and are unmoved in it. For years, I had no visible mark of faith on my person at work. I admired a south Indian colleague of mine who would proudly put Tripund on his forehead. I pray and put a chandan Tika on my forehead most of the days. I was wearing Rudraksh on arm for sometime, lost it. Now I have a Rudraksh Karungali in the neck. What is your thought? Do you wear visible marks of your faith to work or are you embarrassed about it? Your visible marker is first indication to the external world that you are not open to throw away your faith.
