@DelhiAirport I have to take a confirmed outbound flight from Delhi to SFO. As I will be traveling from Raipur, can I come a day early and stay in a hotel near the airport or will I be subjected to 7 days quarantine if I leave the airport?

@YatraOfficial my case is eligible for a refund as per the airlines policy as the flights were cancelled by United Below is a screenshot of the conversation with United airlines CC. When I called them they said that you have not even initiated the refund from them. Act fast.

#flyAI: Under #MissionVandeBharat, AI will be operating 75 flights from India to select destinations in USA and Canada from 9th to 30th June 2020. Bookings on these flights, ex India only, will tentatively be open from 1700 Hrs on 5th June 2020 only through Air India website.

We are also adding several more flights in the third phase of Vande Bharat Mission.
These flights will also carry outbound passengers to countries which have no restrictions on taking them in. So people can also avail these flights to return to the countries they wish to go.

A small group of persons has been proactively agitating on social media since the Lockdown began on 25th March 2020 because they wish to return to their homes abroad. Perhaps all the opportunities of returning are not known to them.

Numerous citizens have been approaching us to restart international flights. Several factors need to be addressed.
Many international destinations are not allowing incoming passenger traffic, except for their own citizens or diplomats.

@HardeepSPuri We appreciate your efforts to help distressed citizens but the reality for us is that VBM doesn't have sufficient number of flights to take us all back to USA. On 30th the tickets were sold out within minutes. Please open international flights to start with from 1 or 2 airports.

The MHA guidelines for lockdown 5.0 announced on May 30 will facilitate the gradual & calibrated reopening of aviation sector.
As we move towards critical mass of 50-60 per cent operation of domestic flights, our ability to resume international operations will also improve.
