Are there any CONSUMER FACING digital health-only companies (i.e. no clinical model), besides those focused on weight loss, that are venture-scale successful and don't sell drugs?
We need to be reminded that Twitter isn’t a Dunk Contest.
You don’t win a trophy for dunking on someone.
Likes, retweets, quote tweets are truly meaningless.
@jackievross@joshpuckett@upperstudy Buongiorno, Jackie! I’m currently vacationing in Italy. Per favore scusa Josh for taking this opportunity to play gladiator in the virtual Colosseum. 😅
@joshpuckett This is not true.
I understand where you’re coming from and what you do at @upperstudy (hi Adam) but there are so many factors that go into the recruiting/application review process.
You could be the best designer in the world and not hear back.
Hard truth for designers:
If you’re not getting responses from applying to a bunch of open roles, it’s because your work is bad 🚩🚩🚩
Hiring managers/recruiters make split second decisions, so if your work isn’t serviceable at first glance they’ve already moved on.
I am incredibly proud to introduce Config to the world today. For a long time, the entire @config team has been uncompromising in working towards creating superpowers for hardware teams. config.com

@sebastienlorber I’d ask myself why I’d want to change “u” to “user” — would it make things clearer? (No) Would it make the code easier to read? (Unlikely) Do I have an urge to try and write “pretty” code? And so on.
A little naming issue I often encounter
How do you:
- avoid one-letter names
- prevent scope variable shadowing
I want to name the variable "user" instead of "u" but the name is "already taken" by outer scope
Convoluted example here, but I'm sure you already encountered it!
@stewartsc Drove into pit instead of joining grid celebration with Checo. Obviously will blame on the driveshaft vibration he began telegraphing once he and everyone realized he had no chance at pole. Nevermind that it wasn’t concerning enough to stop him from doing a fast lap. Typical Max.
@DanielZarick I’ve been following F1 for ~25 years and can’t think of any drivers who routinely display such entitlement and petulance. Leclerc gunning for second perhaps. Probably no coincidence they came up together. Hats off to Horner for trying to manage it better than Binotto.
