100%, Anyone who says NCAA is closer to pro just because it’s against men is delusional. In the CHL the schedule is closer in games played, not just on weekends. There’s visors and fighting, consequences for fucking around on the ice. These NCAA guys go pro and can’t break a nail in a scrum

And when 18 and 19 yr olds can't play pro unless its in the NHL, it only makes sense to go to college. Its way better hockey. And they dont really care about your feelings.

This is the question they need to revisit. Most CHL teams are lucky to have one player drafted, with most not even having one.

In my mind the biggest thing the CHL is fighting against is the growing perception that the CHL is a high school league and if you want to “become a man” you need to make the jump to college.
It’s going to become increasingly status-lowering to *still* be playing CHL when you’re 19 or 20.
