@RishiSunak Even if it was true (which it’s proven not to be) it’s a relatively small price to pay to eject your party from government. How much has your Brexit project cost each household per year? #brexitreality

@transportgovuk Cars are a stupid way to get around cities (unless you have mobility challenges). LTNs make cities better and help with modal shift.

Does the photo distortion matter? How much do you care? What does it tell us about the Royal Family communication machine at the moment, especially when the King is off public duty while he receives treatment for cancer? @bbc5live
Peter Hunt@_PeterHunt

This is damaging for the royals. They knew there would be intense interest in any picture they released of Kate. Their challenge is that people will now question whether they can be trusted and believed when they next issue a health update.

@MarinaPurkiss Thank you for using your platform to highlight this. The morning headlines astonish me on a regular basis given the urgency of the challenges we face. #dontlookup nailed it.

Guess the destination... 🕵️ Hint: The name of the island comes from an old Latin phrase ‘insula maior’ that means ‘larger island'. Comment with your answer below 👇

@ShallinDurid @pedalmeapp That they can fail on a Friday (which is fine, I accepted the risk and was aware of it) and be trading again under “new ownership” on a Monday!!

Four years on from Brexit we celebrate the restoration of this country’s democratic power to make its own laws and rules. With those Brexit freedoms we have introduced improved standards for animal welfare, cut taxes on sanitary products, created greater flexibility for cutting edge industries from financial services to bioscience, done many global free trade deals - and it was at least partly thanks to Brexit that this country had the fastest covid vaccine rollout in Europe. We must retain the appetite and the courage to diverge from the low-growth high-regulation European model. We must at all costs avoid a return to anything remotely like the disastrous “Chequers” formula whereby artificial concerns about the border between Northern Ireland and Ireland are used to keep the whole of the UK in alignment with EU rules.

Of all the things in 2024 that should be sending shivers down our spines, I might stick my neck out here and say that I think our "threadbare royal resources" are pretty much close to the bottom of that list.

@Nathan_A_RF So the rest implemented at the same time as the trial or after the trial? My concern is it’s just trialling the bud gate trial is you experience some of the negatives without the positives!

Success for Portswood as plans for the transformation of the Broadway are approved! Bus gate, wider pavements, more greenery, improved crossings and more, bringing improved bus travel, improved active travel, more footfall, better business and less polluted traffic! 🎉

@GrumpyBstard_ @BBCNews Can you quantify “most” and provide any data? In my limited experience there’s a vocal (and poorly informed) minority spreading misinformation. My house is insulated (has to be to get the grant). No underfloor heating unfortunately.
