What they're asking for is a locally running image classifier that introduces limitations. Sounds reasonable - but will it stop there? or will be gradually extended until it's used to police thought crimes and edgy groupchats?


What’s something America lost so slowly that most people never noticed it was disappearing?

My friend @_djpn got pushed onto the subway tracks in NYC. He's alive, but seriously injured. Every day for the past week, people have gotten shoved onto the tracks or stabbed by homeless men who were known to the police. We don't have to live like this. Just lock them up.

@RebirthOfEmpire @ToennesTieleman @pirruragonzaiez Colombian here, Gustavo Petro is far more authoritarian than Abelardo due to the fact that he's besties with the guerrilla (which have gained an extreme ammount of power within the past 4 years) amongst other things such as the bureaucracy skyrocketing
