Christian Aristotelianism is a broad discourse within which one finds many ongoing debates. Being Protestant means you don’t have to take an oath of loyalty to any single thinker or school within this discourse. Loyalty to the truth, even above one’s friends, is what matters.

Another Reformed theologian just converted to Catholicism. His reason? "I became obliged to conclude Catholicism, merely because Thomas had told me to do so." That sentence should alarm every Protestant who treats Aquinas as a theological hero.

If Argentina tried to recapture the Falkland Islands now, they would probably succeed. In 1982 Britain sent 100+ ships, including 40+ Navy vessels and 2 aircraft carriers. In 2026 Britain cannot even keep one military vessel seaworthy.

1) the Falklands were originally illegally seized from Argentina in 1833. BUT they have been British ever since. 2) throughout the 1960s and 70s, Argentina negotiated in good faith to trade ownership. They offered concessions, such as “Falklanders won’t have to serve in rhe army.” The British teams all recommended the transfer. Each UK government punted it to the next. Was Argentina right to invade? Of course not. The Falklanders’ opinion should be taken into account! Plus the major reason for the attack was because the junta was looking for distractions. But I can’t help but think that it would be cheapest for Argentina to pay each Falklander a million dollars (costing about 3.5 billion) to move away.

🚨 CHILE SIDES WITH ARGENTINA ON THE FALKLANDS Chile has officially declared its support for Argentina’s claim over the Falkland Islands. This came in a joint statement after a meeting between the two countries’ leaders. The Falklands are British territory - defended with British blood in 1982. Now more countries are openly testing us because they sense weakness in London. Britain must make it crystal clear: The Falklands are ours and will remain ours forever.

@Corushii @Bhess @SandyofCthulhu France occupied the islands first. UK tried to occupy what was already occupied as you admitted. Under Spain they were administrated by the Viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata today Argentina. Brits came and disarmed argentine government and stole the islands. There, all debunked.

@sowlaaa @Bhess @SandyofCthulhu The islands population remained and to this day their decedents still live on the Island and choose to remain under British rule. Even when Argentina illegally invaded in 1982, before being kicked out less than 2 months later by the British. [7/7]

UK people are so ignorant. They are arguing in favour of islands that are 13,000 km away from their hometown and saying they belong to them. Guys, India is not yours anymore, and the MALVINAS won’t be yours in the near future either🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷

@95bMatt @intheightz If you take a DNA test practically all argentine have indigenous ancestry. Do that in english countries and you won’t find the same. Btw I never understood the Nazi argument. Argentina’s german ancestry is around 7% and most of them came before WWII. Italian ancestry is ~65%

@sowlaaa @intheightz You are the children of Nazis and Nazi sympathisers. You eradicated the majority of the Native population, then after banning slavery, you used up all your black population as cannon fodder in conflicts to keep your population racially pure.

an "implanted colonial population" is when previously uninhabited islands whose closest land neighbours are the Argentine-occupied indigenous lands of the Aónikenk, the Haush and the Selk'nam are inhabited by British people instead of Spanish people

@eff_hey Uninhabited? They were argentine civilians living there and a government authorized by Argentina. What are you even talking about? Look who Luis Vernet was.

@Lambert2191 The Malvinas were under Argentine administration until 1833 when the UK expelled most of our population and stole the islands. Before that they were from Spain, as they were handed by France, the first to establish a settlement there. Brits were never the first of anything

@Jimrob_north @PeterAirmyn @intheightz @SandySev Over-rhetoric only shows how much of an ignorant you are. But this has already been proven the moment you were asked to give any example of only one of the many claims you’ve made and you couldn’t.

@Jimrob_north @Dave82003914 @Bhess @SandyofCthulhu Yes. No objection at that time was considered an acceptance cuz that was the norm back there. It was common for the Pope to intermediate in political aspects and England as a Catholic country was subjected to it. Not only he didn’t reject but denied Gaboto to explore the South

@Jimrob_north @Dave82003914 @Bhess @SandyofCthulhu He did. He never formally objected at tit he only interpreted as not referring to the South. He never claimed any territory from the South and the same England benefited from this system with Ireland. If you can’t show any example of what I ask then I think we’re done here.

@sowlaaa @Dave82003914 @Bhess @SandyofCthulhu Henry VII didn't 'accept' Inter Caetra. I've explained that numerous territories were claimed this way. Whether or not they were accepted as valid depended on the attitude of other European nations.

@RoryofWatford @claudegm @Eelpeeder Totally unrelated argument. Spain as well as Argentina were obviously recognized as States that fall under int. Law which existed in various forms at that time. UK violated int. Law when it expelled our population and implanted yours
