Why does every swing have to be Max Effort today? The best @MLB hitters I played with never seemed to over swing. On the rare occasion they did over swing they usually weren’t successful. But today because of @blastmotion & @rapsodo & @HitTraxOfficial every kid is over swinging. These measuring devices might be fun to use but they aren’t helping you become better hitters. Ever notice when you over swing in golf you rarely hit a good shot? In golf the ball isn’t moving and it’s still difficult to hit it correctly when you over swing. In baseball the ball is moving and never in the same location so over swinging will lead to failure. Be Short and Quick to the ball and finish in a balanced position. It’s difficult to finish in a balanced position if you over swing. Baseball is not a video game!
