I wrote a tweet praising American pizza last night. This may have triggered something. Now bunch of people are argu... well, sharing their thoughts about which region in the states has the best pizza.

The funny thing about the current Japanese - American cultural appreciation exchange is that despite the typical accusations of racism and xenophobia lobbed at patriotic, heritage Americans, the fact is that patriotic Americans love their country and the things that make it special and tend to greet America appreciating foreigners with open arms and hospitality. What we really hate is foreigners and other American citizens who resent and denigrate our country and culture while taking advantage of it. It feels like the Japanese are similar in this regard.

I always wonder about people like this. Are you saying that 20yo women are not capable of making rational decisions? Who should make decisions for them? Their father? The state? At what age do they become rational so we can let them vote again?
