@Spacedogonmoon @SciGuySpace He tried to justify cuts to Earth sciences by saying that NOAA already does all that, while ignoring all the cuts NOAA was going through and the fact that so many NOAA missions are NOAA/NASA collaborations. He also wanted to make NASA be a part of the Dept of Transportation

@SciGuySpace What exactly did he do that was so bad to NASA? He was only there to simmer down the lefties so they wouldn’t block Jared.

@GrantLavac @NASA Space X seems to have usurped NASA’s exploration hardware by an order of magnitude. The only way to influence bureaucrats is to remove funding.

Suffice it to say that after today’s release of UFO files, NASA’s Daniel Evans has some explaining to do.

Contrast to the expressions we saw throughout their mission - even while in a cramped capsule for 10 days w/out a working toilet. Awkward to have them used as partisan political props in his press conference. I wonder if they will join @Astros4America when they leave the corps?

@MAGAinMDs6th @ChrisVanHollen @elonmusk @SpaceX I mean I don’t blame him for hating Elon, but that’s just speculation that he doesn’t know which launch vehicle it’s manifested for though, correct? Not far-fetched for him to be aware of it, considering he’s the CJS ranking member. But why would he spend time talking about it?

The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is ready for launch! Once operational it will help us see further into the depths of our universe than ever before.   This revolutionary telescope was assembled by the team at NASA Goddard, right here in MD, ahead of schedule & under budget.

@MAGAinMDs6th @ChrisVanHollen @elonmusk @SpaceX I agree with you that SpaceX is superior right now! I just don’t understand why you’re acting like that’s a gotcha to Van Hollen haha, like no shit. Even people who hate Elon can recognize that SpaceX is the leading US launch provider by far, that’s not some secret.

@MAGAinMDs6th @ChrisVanHollen @elonmusk @SpaceX Dude I care about the ISS but you were responding to a tweet about the Roman space telescope by ranting about the ISS 😂 And technically BO is seeking manned missions in the sense that they’re building the Blue Moon lunar lander

@MAGAinMDs6th @ChrisVanHollen @elonmusk @SpaceX …how does this have anything to do with Roman? Like if you said “Falcon Heavy is the only now the only 🇺🇸 option for launching Roman because both BO and ULA have had NG and Vulcan anomalies they’re investigating”, then yes I’d give that to you. But you’re ranting about ISS…?

@spacetimer4 @ChrisVanHollen @elonmusk @SpaceX Only flying today, means only in existence! If you’re grounded, you truly don’t exist. The ISS is an important mission, that Blue Origin can’t address! Blue Origin is a space tourism company trying to become a LEO viable launch system! They’ll get there eventually, but not now!🤡

@MAGAinMDs6th @ChrisVanHollen @elonmusk @SpaceX The post you were responding to is about a launch to L2, so I’m not sure why you’re bringing up flights to ISS, especially with regard to Blue Origin. And you literally stated “Falcon is the only private 🇺🇸 space launch vehicle!”

@spacetimer4 @ChrisVanHollen @elonmusk @SpaceX Read what I posted again Spacetimer - Falcon is the only private manned space vehicle to the ISS! Boeing is not cleared for manned flight after stranding astronauts there! They can ferry cargo, but not people! And Blue Origin has no capsule for LEO flight!

@ChrisVanHollen Guess how that telescope will launch? Via @elonmusk @SpaceX Falcon, the most economical & safe launch platform! Falcon is 🇺🇸’s only ticket to the ISS with Boeing & Blue Origin grounded, the latter due to a failure on April 19! Falcon is the only private 🇺🇸 space launch vehicle!👍

Celebrating 36 years of discovery with the Hubble Space Telescope 🔭 Collected on April 23, 2026, by one of Vantor's WorldView Legion satellites, this remarkable non-Earth image showcases Hubble from just 61.8 km away—an incredible perspective of one of humanity’s most iconic scientific instruments. With a space sample distance of 4.0 cm, Hubble’s signature cylindrical body, gleaming thermal shielding, and extended solar arrays are clearly visible, along with the open aperture door at the front of the telescope. For over three decades, Hubble has expanded our understanding of the universe—delivering breathtaking imagery and groundbreaking science that continue to inspire. Proud to support the technologies and teams that make moments like this possible.

As astronauts, we didn't ask about political parties in space. The only thing we asked was what the mission required. But now we have a new mission to preserve our democracy—which requires us to defend constitutional values.

Great. Another great thing about to be co-opted by leftists? Yeah NASA thrives when it enforces DEI! They say diversity is their strength?! We’ve heard that before. They will tank the space program and go back to bad old days. And watch - they will try to shut down private cos

NASA turned off one of the instruments on Voyager 1. The decision is considered the best option to keep the 49 yo spacecraft operating while they finalize a plan -- the "Big Bang" -- to keep it going even longer. science.nasa.gov/blogs/voyager/…
