@sparklinsprite Hopes and prayers the surgery is a success and she has a quick recovery.

Tomorrow my mom is having open heart surgery. She has been having heart problems for about two months now. She needs to have her aortic valve replaced with a mechanical valve as well as a repair on an artery. The surgery is scary, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t terrified. But I know she is so strong and will make it through the surgery and the recovery. She should feel much better once she is recovered. ❤️ Her recovery will be tough, with the next two weeks being the toughest and needing the most care. I will be helping her as much as I can, so my streams and content may be inconsistent, so I can be there for my mom and family. I won’t be streaming tomorrow as I’ll be at the hospital all day… but I will post updates in discord on how she is as well as when I’ll be streaming. ❤️ Thank you so much for always being my rock and support! 🥰

With this though… I am proud for where I have come, I am proud to have grown a thicker skin. I am thankful for my community and the friends I have made. But damn do I wish I still had those rose colored glasses on. Because once you take them off you can’t put them back on.

I hate that creating content has changed me. I hate that I’m not as trusting. I hate that I’m not as open. I hate that I have a guard up constantly. I hate that I feel I have to keep everyone at a distance. I miss being naive, I miss who I was when I first started creating content. I fear I can’t get her back.

ADHD is having to pee. Knowing you have to pee. Continuing to sit there. Not getting up. Just... sitting in discomfort. For 45 minutes. Until the need to pee finally outweighs the executive dysfunction required to stand up and walk to the bathroom.
