Na. Stop diluting actual anti-semitism with rage over the wrong things. Keffiyehs were and are worn in the Middle-East by Jews as well. It's a a woven textile. And a watermelon is a watermelon. Just stop. You're giving these symbols power against us when they are nothing in reality.

Many Jewish students choose Brandeis University because it’s seen as one of the few campuses where Jewish identity and safety are genuinely supported. That’s why it’s troubling to see a graduate highlighted by the school on IG wearing a keffiyeh, a symbol Jews post 10/7 associate with violence against them.

This is an ALL GIRLS Jewish school in my district. I’m all for prayer and free speech, but why do a bunch of GROWN MEN need to do this right outside of a school full of little Jewish girls??? Is not this what MOSQUES are for? Is this intentional? Mayor Mamdani @NYCMayor any words of wisdom on why all of a sudden they’d feel compelled to do this?
