You must gather your party before venturing forth🤩 2 hour train ride is no hinderance to my bi-annual Baldur's Gate 1 playthrough. I think this is probably my all-time CRPG and also overall top-three game of all times (controversially IN FRONT of BG2)❤️ Played it? Love/hate?

@Codie_Sanchez My father has no computer (no interest). His phone is just for calls and texts. He doesn't drink, smoke, or use drugs. He has no interest in fiction - he doesn't "get it." Hard worker living a simple life. He doesn't fit in. Everyone I know finds him awkward. I love him.

Weird realization, I have never met a human who truly raw dogs life … - No social media - No tv - No fiction books - No alcohol or drugs Just literally takes it from life. Never met one.

@DungeonNoir I thought about revisiting an old module I made for NWN2. I cracked it open recently, thinking I could enhance it (particularly the second half). I browsed around a bit and then quickly exited, haha. Too much - If I were to work in Electron, I'd have to start from scratch.

Anyone playing today for release?

@DungeonNoir Same here - '91 started playing D&D 2e. Parents found out we were playing and flipped. They forbid us - we had to hide it until we became adults. And of course, sited the devil and all that. Satanic Panic was real and long-lasting for some folks!

It is killing me (my long term, memory is failing me!) Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition was published in 1989 Shadowrun was developed and published by FASA beginning in 1989 Which would make me 15 and a Freshman in high school. I know I started D&D as a Freshman (bought the PHB under secrecy at the mall, while locked up in Christian boarding school). And bought Shadowrun from a hobby shop in Colorado. I'm not sure which one I started first! I had the D&D red box in 86 but only got to read it before the Evil Stepmother™ burned it up. I am not sure if she was still in control in 89 and if we still had to be sly. I do not think I could play D&D in boarding school as everyone was scared of "Dungeons and Dragons", but Shadowrun was ok.. (I could play The Legend of Zelda because I lied and said he was a boy from outer space on a alien planet, I was much quicker back in the day). Either way, 36 years of D&D and Running the Shadows! What about you all?
