most traders that trade highly volatile assets full time are better off not constantly shifting their goal posts.
i.e. goal of $120k/year ($10k/month).
if you make $100k in the first month, dont immediately reset your goal to $1.2m for the year.
instead, recognize you’ve had a very good month, and that you may also have very bad months.
keep the goal consistent. $10k/month is still the goal.
in some cases, you can even argue that your goal is now $2k/month — still aim for the $120k and take the rest of the time to sit on your hands. improve/learn/etc. and take no positions unless it is literally free money.
once you reframe from $120k -> $1.2m for the year, you’ve set a goal based off what’s likely a monthly high water mark.
unlikely goals lead to bad risk management.

We built out our own NFT marketplace. From scratch. In like 2 months.
Why? Well, our infrastructure providers kept failing in one way or another, and eventually Sudoswap announced they were going to sunset their core marketplace.
We considered trying to bridge out the Kamis to a third-party marketplace, but realized this would lead to a worse UX for customers, and also leave us dependent on yet-another third party.
I'll tell you a secret: Most of the developers, and most of the infra, in crypto, are total dogshit. They don't care about anything except raising and then paying themselves overinflated salaries while they slowly go out of business.
And we at @asph0d37 are getting really tired of relying on an industry that just doesn't want to win. Because we want to win. So instead of an awkward bridge and a new shitty third party to lean on, we just built it all out ourselves.
Now @kamigotchiworld has a custom in-app marketplace built from the ground up just to trade Kamis. And it's significantly faster and more full-featured than any of the third party options that were available to us.
Give it a try. Maybe even if you don't play the game. Just bridge some Eth over so you can try out our lovely new NFT marketplace. And then try the game.
You'll have more fun this way than playing with the other apps out there, I promise.
More big new features coming soon. And more UX upgrades. And a whole new NPC who'll be selling fresh Kamis to new users. And... two huge, gamechanging announcements I'm not quite ready to tell you about yet.
Have a nice day.

Personal update: This was my last week as Head of DeFi at the Monad Foundation
I joined Monad two and a half years ago when it was a small team of 15 people with a powerful vision to build a high-performance EVM chain to scale crypto.
I feel incredibly fortunate to have had a front row seat in this journey, and helping build the ecosystem from scratch.
From working closely with the biggest defi protocols in the space and support their launches on Monad to closing monad-native teams and supporting their growth from their earliest days when building on Monad was not a popular choice.
I am proud of how the defi ecosystem looks today on Monad.
We've brought 100+ protocols live in the ecosystem, with $500m+ in deposits, $250m+ in TVL, and $7b+ in cumulative DEX volume - in under 3 months since launch.
More than the headline numbers, what stands out is the depth of the ecosystem. Over 30 protocols each have more than $1m in deposits.
The growth of the ecosystem has come from a wide base of strong builders, not just a single king-made project.
Every ecosystem metric is on track to grow and many exciting protocols will launch in the coming months, so I'm excited to see the young and flourishing defi ecosystem go to new heights.
Working alongside Keone, Eunice, James, and the rest of the team has been a privilege. Their ambition and long-term thinking is rare in this industry, and I remain a strong believer in Monad.
Whats next for me:
I have been in crypto for 10 years now (unc status), and my conviction in this space has only strengthened over time.
However, I have not taken a proper break in 4 years, so I will be taking some time to reset and explore new ideas before starting my next chapter.
I firmly believe that we're still very early stages in crypto adoption. The next breakout app will come out crypto, and the future of all speculative markets also lies onchain. There's a lot of opportunity.
I am excited to stay close to this space and see what comes next.

Over the last week two of the largest public ETH whales have capitulated the majority of their levered positions. This has caused ETH to decline over 20% also dragging BTC down to natural support levels at prior cycle ATH's. This began with Garrett's 200k ETH perp long liquidated over the weekend, bringing prices dangerously close to Trend Research's liquidation levels on leveraged ETH vs USDT Aave positions. However, Trend has now repaid mid 9 figs of their original position while Garrett has sold ~300m additional Spot ETH. We believe this puts ETH in a position where natural demand can fill the remaining forced sellers. As can be seen in the below chart, Trend Research's liquidation levels are now in the 1600s, roughly 24% away from current price. Once ETH bounces at all the reflexive loop will end. Market should realize this soon and the combination of powerful technical support makes now a logical point to call a bottom on ETH and crypto more broadly. We are long ETH outright.

From the earliest days of blockchain,
@OxValent followed the crypto art scene with close attention, eventually becoming a dedicated collector and supporter of many artists. This month he is releasing his new collection, much anticipated generative series called Deliverance.
It is going to be his first project on @fx_hash_, a very special occasion for us, together with the fact this is the opening of our online gallery. This week we are excited to share the interview with Valent which I hope will offer an insight into his artistic practice and the precision of his creative process. For now, we let the art speak for itself. In details.

Hola. I don't like making this kind of post because it can sometimes lead to misinterpretations, but I feel its my moral duty and responsibility to do so. Most crypto outlets in the region dont seem to give a fuck about tragedies/charity like this on a regular basis.
Besides my regular "crypto travels" I'm based in Chile. Putting personal ties aside, two regions of the country are currently engulfed in flames. There are at least 25 dead so far, several people missing, and a few close friends have been directly affected.. the fires have destroyed their sources of income. Entire towns have literally disappeared, and both regions are under a State of Catastrophe.
There are a few ways to help (im coordinating with the Red Cross/NGOs and close friends who are heading to the affected areas) but i mainly wanted to share this here with my cryptobros around the world.
If anyone wants to help, my DMs are open.. i'm handling exchanges (USD to local currency) and buying essential resources/goods with some friends to send directly to the affected regions and donating to institutions i trust.
If this gets enough engagement and starts feeling a bit uncontrollable, I'll organize something bigger like "Miladys for Chile" or similar to scale up and channel the help faster. Right now, we're moving forward with the resources i already have and will only sit down to plan something bigger if necessary
While this emergency continues, I'm reducing my activity at least for the next few days to strictly what's necessary. I'll still attend to anyone who wants to help, but I'll be focusing on this for some time.
