Respectfully, here is a Project Animus Update:
The total supply of Project Animus Eggs will be capped at 20,000… meaning, there will be NO public sale of Project Animus Eggs.
As of today, there are ~16,794 eggs that have been claimed. The egg claim period for any Clone X collectibles that have not yet claimed an egg will remain open until March 1, 2024. For any unclaimed eggs after March 1st, RTFKT will look at options for distribution of the unclaimed eggs to the rest of the Clone X community of holders to reach the 20,000 Project Animus egg supply cap. Additional details to follow in the coming weeks on how this will work. Please use the redemption checker on rtfkt.com to validate if a Clone X collectible has already claimed a Project Animus egg.
If you are a Clone X mint vial holder, you will also have until March 1, 2024 to reveal your Clone X and claim your egg. We are unable to create an additional claim period for Clone X mint vial holders due to the constraints associated with the mint vial smart contract.
We will be dropping physical items in limited quantities for purchase during the Project Animus Incubation launch. The physical items will first be made available to Clone X and Project Animus Egg digital collectible holders in a token-gated ETH sale. Any remaining supply, after the token-gated sale, will be made available to the general public for purchase with non-crypto local currencies similar to the Dunk Genesis public sale conducted through Shopify.
The Project Animus experience website will launch in February. It will include details about the # of characters, the art and associated licensed 2D/3D materials, and how egg incubation and character reveal will work. Clones and pods digital collectibles will definitely play a role in the Animus Egg Incubation and hatching experience ahead 👀

gm from Canada. We are now officially full time adventuring with our three autistic kids. Seems totally crazy; but life is too short and for many even shorter than they anticipate.
I have been offline a lot as we have been packing up our lives in Australia. Hard to even explain to people just how much work that entails but a few of the major things were; quitting our jobs, taking our kids out of school and prepping for home school, putting all our stuff into storage, renovating our house so we can rent it out, selling our cars and motorbikes, getting some last minute surgeries to deal with some health issues for me and the boys, organising a mass of logistical stuff like new sails for our boat in the Caribbean, a mass of paperwork like various vias and boat registrations, and then trying to say goodbye to everyone.
We will be here in Canada for a month to catch up with some friends and family and do a wee road trip; and then head down to Aruba. From Aruba we will see where the wind takes us, but the plan is 1-5 years exploring. Two opposites in location and climate; The North and the Ocean. Two places etched deeply into my heart.
I plan to be online here a bit more than I have been, sharing my work as we adventure. I also plan to some more spaces and bring the voice back a little. My commitment to this space is unwavering. We took down the Starlink dish of our remote cabin in Australia and brought it with us, so internet this time will be a lot easier than it was when we were stranded at sea in the pandemic.
I am tired and jetlagged right now and my neurodivergent kids are massively overexcited and bouncing off our tiny hotel room. I prob averaged 3-4 hours sleep a night for the past couple of weeks in the final push to leave. This is not going to be one of those trips like you see in the magazines at fancy resorts. This will be the full spectrum of life the old-fashioned way; before everyone decided to shield themselves in suburbia flattening human emotions into what can often feel like a stable comfortable nothingness.
We will get to feel the trials and tribulations of seeing the world. The contrasts of things like kids tantruming while waiting for a public transport which never seems to come with blissful swimming in tranquil waters or playing in the snow. The feeling of the extremes of temperatures rather than a climate controlled existence. Being forced to eat food outside of your comfort zone because that’s all the location has. To develop respect for other peoples and their cultures and ways of life. To ultimately become comfortable with who you are and your place in the world, the raw version, not the controlled one you project from within your safe boundaries at home.
We tried this last time; after three years in Canada it ended in two crazy years at sea in the global pandemic with a home county who turned their back on our existence and locked us out. That experience highlighted the fragility of the global norms and governance systems we all take for granted; the fragility of your rights to freedom to transact.
Ultimately the pain and forced self reliance of that experience shaped who we are, like a sharpening a stone axe head against a rock. But we came home feeling like we never got a chance to use the axe.
So here we are again on the precipice about to jump off. To find out who we truly are, as individuals, as a family.

A stranger messaged me for encouraging words as his father had passed away the night before.
Here’s what I sent:
Be the man he’d want you to be.
Instead of focusing on your sadness, focus on helping everyone else through theirs.
Use the proximity of his death to get you to take the actions you were too afraid to take before. Because the window of time where his death affects you will be finite. But the changes you make can be everlasting.
If you live his values, he lives on through you.
And ask yourself a scary question: how can this make me better? Then answer it.
Realize that the length of time you mourn has nothing to do with how much you loved him.
You don’t have to be sad to prove to yourself that you loved him.

ERC-6551 & The Future of NFTs
Recently there was a MASSIVE improvement to the entire Ethereum NFT ecosystem and very few people are talking about it
..at least relative to the amount of attention being given to the latest Azuki or Yuga or Ether FUD.
So I want to talk about it. Because it's Really. Freaking. Cool.
What is ERC-6551?
At a high level, ERC-6551 (also known as Token Bound Accounts) makes it possible for NFTs to have their own wallet.
Rather than a person owning assets, the token itself can hold custody of the assets.
Basically: every NFT can now own / store within it ETH as well as ERC-721, 1155, and 20 tokens.
Actually an NFT can store an NFT which itself stores other NFTs.
It’s NFTs all the way down.
How?
The gist of it is that there is an on-chain and permissionless Registry (a smart contract) which can be used by anyone to create token bound accounts and deploy them for any NFTs.
The beauty of this is that it’s backwards compatible, so all existing NFTs are able to hold tokens.
Honestly it’s a technological marvel that they were able to do this. You don’t need to wrap tokens, upgrade contracts, etc. It just.. works.
Actually, all NFTs already have their own accounts. If you own NFTs.. those NFTs have their own accounts.
Why?
It’s always good to ask WHY — why might we want NFTs to custody assets? What are the use cases? How does this make the future better?
The first thing that came to mind to me was airdrops.
Instead of projects taking snapshots and airdropping tokens to the holders of NFTs, they can airdrop them directly to the NFTs themselves.
Think about that for a moment.
This eliminates the need for all the pre-snapshot/post-snapshot kerfuffling about.
No more immediately flooring the collection after the snapshot.
The airdrop goes directly to the NFT, and everyone can see clearly on-chain the assets held within that NFT.
But there are lots of other ways ERC-6551 makes a lot of sense too.
Think about playing a game and owning your character.
Now think about all the items that character might own: weapons, clothing, potions, in-game currency, etc.
Previously these would all have been separate tokens all connected to the person’s account, now they can all be owned by the character / NFT itself.
So that if you were to trade it, everything associated with be traded in one clean transaction.
One more interesting idea is that the NFT itself can now have a trading history, a collection, an identity.
A… life? What happens when you infuse ERC-6551 + Artificial Intelligence? Give your NFT some ETH and tell it go to trade and see what it collects.
The future is going to be absolutely insane and none of us are prepared.
