@LosTrains @SouthwestAir @Delta @AlaskaAir @united It all depends on the agent and how they view rules. I will say I have not been doubled charged once, it just takes a little bit of arguing sometimes.

@spielder @SouthwestAir Do you know what the bike fee is on @Delta ? $0 @AlaskaAir $0 @united $0 I don’t know why @SouthwestAir keeps double-charging $75 for bike and another $75 b/c bike is a 3rd bag, but I haven’t used them since for a race and won’t until bikes fly free.

@spielder Good question, Jen! Excess baggage which is also overweight or oversized will be charged excess baggage plus the applicable oversize or overweight charge of $75. -Alice

Hey @SouthwestAir. I literally saw my bike and wheel bag get loaded in CMH on flight 2345. Didn't make it to OAK and no one can seem to locate it. Also a significant amount of oversize items didn't make it off that flight.
