Jofra Archer, currently in the IPL with Rajasthan Royals, hasn’t been included in England’s squad for the first Test against New Zealand.

🗣️🧊🚢 #WATCH: Golf Channel commentator Eamon Lynch absolutely UNLOADS on LIV Golf & compares Scott O’Neil’s efforts to raise funds to “trying to sell a deck chair on the titanic by saying you’ll have a beautiful view of the iceberg.”
You agree w/ Eamon?
@bh6543@arlowhite@livgolf_league Nope LiV south africa was super expensive to attend. Infact on top of it we had to pay huge parking rates.... so no its not a rent a crowd situation.... yes in year 1 or 2 there were discounted tickets but thats ship has sailed.... amazing events they put on and worth the money!
@arlowhite@livgolf_league No real golf fans enjoy LIV. All the crowds are practically given tickets for free to attend to boost the on site people. Television numbers are horrific. You’re brainwashed. LIV is a joke
Takeaways from R3 at @livgolf_league Virginia. The players are having a blast, despite the situ’. D.C. Golf fans showed up. Perhaps the hostility/toxicity of US Golf Twitter isn’t representative of real US Golf fans?! There’s a big world out there & so many love this League 🙌⛳️
@Mpumiln We been told they will assist us with support on how yo budget but 3 days in office it is.... sadly this doesnt affect top execs nearly as much as normal staff so they literally do not care
11 months ago, Cameron Young needed to survive a 5-man playoff just to get through U.S. Open Final Qualifying.
Now, he’s very clearly one of the top 5 players in the world.
What a turnaround.
David Miller is a bit upset with his wife over something, and they’re having a cute argument. No matter which country they’re from, these little fights between husband and wife happen everywhere.😂❤️
There are virtually no fans at the Cadillac Championship at Doral. Is this a Trump boycott? Tickets too high? Who sets the prices? Single day ticket is $88. Tickets too high next weeks Truist at Quail Hollow are $84. Not much different
I think two lessons from LIV will be ...
1. You can't solve time problems with money. It took 40 years of playing the Masters before people *really* started to care. You can't speed that up by signing big checks. You can't microwave history.
2. A modicum of humility goes a long way. Thumping your chest out of the gate and saying "we're gonna redefine a 200-year-old sport over the next few seasons" is not a good strategy. It might eventually be true (spoiler: it wasn't), but it does the opposite of what it probably feels like it's going to do. Most fans are smart, and immense hubris is rarely attractive in any business setting.
Alex Fitzpatrick accepting immediate @PGATOUR status will actually (likely) give an extra player PGA TOUR status for 2027.
Fitzpatrick came into the week 6th on the @DPWorldTour Race To Dubai - PGA TOUR Eligibility List (top 10 get PGA TOUR cards).
He now exits that list.
🚨MI Management Unhappy With Hardik Pandya's Leadership🚨
- Dressing room atmosphere is tense and questions are being raised internally about Hardik's tactical calls, player management, and overall leadership
- Akash Ambani looked visibly unhappy yesterday, left the stadium mid-match & asked fans to leave early
- Bowling coach also spotted frustrated with Pandya’s bowling changes & field placements
- Seniors reportedly not fully aligned with Hardik’s style
What's your take on this?
@KylePorterNS Its simple Phil should without a doubt.... but you americans make a huge amount of noise over nonsense....so he plays LIV who cares man up.... get over it and move on.......
Bryson DeChambeau has been the face of LIV Golf since joining in 2022. He regularly faces media and has been the most outspoken player in regard to how much he believes in the product. Now with reports that the PIF are cutting funding at the end of the 2026 season, how committed is he?
Speaking to Flushing It Golf after LIV Golf Mexico City, Bryson said:
“There's a lot of moving parts like in any business. It’s a startup, right? And so there's going to be times where we're squeezed and punched. This is one of those moments. But I'm going to do everything in my power to make it work and I really see the value in franchise golf.
“And, you know, another reason why I'm doing this is not just for myself and the team aspect that I really believe in on the Crushers side. It's for Michael LaSasso. It's for Caleb Surratt. It's for Josele Ballester. It's for David Puig.
“Jon, Phil, DJ, myself and the guys that have been here from the start, we’re okay. It’s now our responsibility to take care of these kids that believe in us. That’s why I'm really doing it. There's so much value to squeeze out of this whole thing for golf in general.”
LIV Golf has been well funded since inception. Spending enormous amounts of money to sign players to upfront contracts, hosting lavish parties, having massive build outs and offering the largest event to event purses in the sport. But now the blank cheques are coming to an end, things clearly need to change.
After reaching out directly to officials familiar with this aspect of the league, they insist they are focused on securing more income and funding, rather than cuts, and appear bullish with how that is trending.
League sources say they’ve doubled revenue in 2025 from the previous year and have added more than $100 million already in the 2026 season through the first 5 events. 10 franchises will be profitable, as well as 4 events, and their ticket sales are up over 130% year over year. CEO Scott O’Neil said on last week’s broadcast, “we have never been in a better position.”
If outside investment comes in, particularly to the franchises, as a byproduct it will help address the obvious issue of having one owner for all of the teams. The competitive aspect of the league has been flawed since the start, with more focus on building brands than the actual performances on the golf course. Results will suddenly matter more than they ever have.
“I think that’s the best part of it,” Bryson said. “In my opinion, it’s not just some gimmick, it’s like, okay, we’re here to be competitive.”
No matter how much the revenue increases, a sports league is not sustainable without star players. Bryson DeChambeau is the definition of that.
With his current contract up at the end of this year, how are his negotiations going for a renewal?
“We're still working on a potential contract. I haven’t given up on that and I think there will be a solution. But as of right now, my job is to help make the league work after this year. I just feel like I have a responsibility. I've put a lot of effort into it. So that’s what I’m going to do, we’re going to make this work.”
When asked what happens if they can’t make it work, he doubled down:
“As long as LIV is here, I would figure out a way for it to make sense.”
There’s been much speculation about Bryson DeChambeau’s future over the last few months, and now you have it from the man himself. Pay attention to those who widely shared “reports” of Bryson looking for options outside of LIV Golf but don’t aggregate these quotes. They are not trustworthy news sources.
