On January 3rd of 2012, I was shot and paralyzed. That was exactly 10 years ago, today. I’ll try to briefly describe my experience in this thread. (1/18)

That 80s skateboard pisses me off… Skating in the 90s had SUBSTANTIALLY moved away from “fish” decks, rail guards, and giant wheels. It was all about skinny decks, tiny wheels, and big pants and shoes. (Also apparently zero hip-hop in this game, wtf)

literally could bring in so much money. Make a modern 2d XJ with an engine just as good as the 4.0 and Jeep will literally sell out like the 2026 Rav4’s are right now. Kia is still the best option but my fellow americans are mental and wont accept how good Korean vehicles are now so at least this will hopefully revive some sales that FcA has lost over the years. But realistically between the K4, Elantra, and Corolla i still dont think they stand a full chance lol

@CrownVicCopCar It’s probably all in the overhangs, the Mustang has so much of it (Also dear god I need an old Falcon, those hips are just unmatched)

I just realized XB Falcon is shorter than Mustang from the same year, I’m a little shocked, I always thought Australian Falcon is a bigger car

@CrazyWeeMonkey @ani012345678 My bets are on the Fiat Fastback with a different front. We have it here, no one buys it, and the engine is an anemic 1L 3cyl with 120hp

@kiaglik11 @TanakaDrifter YUP There are quite a few, including the Golf R32, 190E, most of the older Hondas, many older muscle cars… Glad to see they’re actively fixing them though

I gotta be honest: an automatic transmission in a Lotus is far more revolting than an electric Lotus. I could absolutely have fun driving an electric Lotus. I would end up so annoyed with an automatic ICE Lotus (just like every other automatic). I can't imagine a worse decision.

@Timoldland Ahh yeah great, so reliability and easy maintenance are no more (especially for the US market where this engine is nonexistent) How many times do we have to say it? SIMPLIFY AND ADD LIGHTNESS

So the Emira will now get a new Geely-Horse 3.0 litre turbo hybrid V6 - great news! No mention of manual gearbox though. So the one single USP the Emira had - something really important in the US at the moment - is going to be abandoned? <facepalm>

@2Hugh2Mungus I just have zero desire for a gauge cluster that’s all TV screen. The only gauge cluster screens I ever liked were the Lexus ones that still had a physical bezel (that even moved depending on mode!)

@spinal_capped Honestly I kinda just wanna see a naturally aspirated high revving 3 cyl on an elise, see how much weight that drops even if it makes a measle 100hp

Now bring back the Elise and Exige you cowards Lightweight, common and easy-to-maintain engines, relatively affordable I wanna see power and weight numbers that begin with ONE

@DittoGTI Yeah, that’s not exactly my gripe. Japan has a huge and varied car culture I’m more annoyed that none of the starter cars are “new-to-Forza” models. We’ve all driven these cars, they could’ve picked some new stuff

@spinal_capped Just because its set in Japan doesn't mean all the cars have to be Japanese. Horizon 2 had a German, American and Japanese car despite being set in France and Italy. Horizon 1 was a German car too

@TotallyNotDrex They could take the GR Yaris/Corolla motor! Sticks with the trend of Toyota powerplants It’d be quite different from prior Exiges for sure Elise would use a standard n/a 4cyl, which again Toyota can supply (some variant of the 2ZR)

The £140k BMW X6 M is lighter than an M5 saloon, but that doesn't help...
