I'm trying to imagine a stable political equilibrium where 20% of people work hard to provide amazing prosperity to 80% of people who are just chilling. The 20% will build a wall and stop paying the 80%. So how do we make it work?






Fewer than half of US adults read a book last year. Even fewer read an actual novel, and the trend is looking worse still for teenagers. Why is nobody talking about this??
