I felt that way for a big chunk of the 90's after seeing Terminator 2. When they destroyed the arm and chip that started Skynet and basically prevented the war that would have resulted in Kyle Reese coming back to 1984 thereby removing the encounter that would have birthed John Connor, literally erasing his existence. Yet he still rode away with his mommy on a motorcycle at the end. They eventually gave a half assed explanation for that in Terminator 3. I was still disappointed it even occurred in the first place and the lame assed when they addressed was not satisfactory at all. A small insignificant detail can really take you out of the movie.

It's one of those ones that can get lost in the action. There are a lot of big characters in the movie, so that's understandable, but yeah. When we look deeper at the through-line of the story, it's broken and probably needed a continuity repair somewhere along the way. It sticks for me because my OCD wants to fix it

@Guitarbizon Yeah, they're okay. I really dug the 90's stuff the most. Especially those first 2 albums. They were cool to smoke with. Really good live, too. I saw them 3 times for their debut album tour and once in 2006 for Family Values.
