Why?

I save money by buying cheap tools from Harbor Freight and QISDLYDU and then overnighting real tools from @McMasterCarr once I have my car half taken apart in the driveway and the e-torx socket nearly strips the most buried bolt in the car. @McMasterDaily

@Swole_Medic @cursedconnector Could you change it so there is a threaded stud coming from the block, and then you can use whatever kind of locking nut you want on the outside?

This is for a machine that has a large plate that swings open and closed to access parts inside. The blue box is what I already have, it's a stop/mount for the plate. It uses two bolts to mount to the frame and after you close the plate, one bolt holds it down. I could use a nylon nut in line but being able to line up the threads with the brass insert and staying in place would be difficult. I could see it getting stripped by one of the ogres that use it. A single piece would be ideal.

Does anybody know of heat inserts for 3D printed parts, but the insert is a locking style? I've considered loctite, but that would be messy and inconvenient for the application.
